No Mick, command is the same. Do you also have this in SD with 140.bin: Garmin\Updater\1371 with last folder containing your original boot bin renamed as Ldr.bin and a text file named update.txt containing only:

    xrgn,140,1:/140.bin
    reboot

without any quotes or spaces including at beginning or end of lines.

I have a vanilla AU2455 if you want any comparative tests done Mick.

    lolypop000 / Neil

the problem i had was it could not write my original 140.bin file

The update log is listed below
    Parsing "xrgn,140,1:/140.bin"
    Error
    Parsing "reboot"

But all sorted now rrgn = read, xrgn = write

    THX for the help

Did you get anything extra on your vanilla AU2455

Yeah, it's LMT. Haven't enabled anything on it yet but probably won't be able to keep my hands off it, lol. DS also has 3590LMT for $299. I've enabled MP3 player and Video player on my 3590 and i've also got a 3790 that i've converted to 3490 and back again so many times that the poor thing's probably in identity crisis now. Let us know if you have any further problems.

Voice Command (ASR function...?) is already installed by default in the nuvi 2595

To which country may not work for you? In SA only works (I think) in Brazil .... with everything on the menu in Brazilian and fix the satellites (or GPS simulation)

Hi Guys. I'm new to the forum. Has anyone got the 3d buildings and 3d terrain actually display on your 2595 nuvi? I can select the 3d buildings and 3d terrain on my 2595 now and downloaded the 3d buildings file but 3d buildings and terrain don't show up. Any suggestions?

    Welcome

    From post #1 :
Unfortunately, however, even if the functions are enabled as the maps loaded, no function, are active. Only the outlines of the buildings

@Roger1109: after reading this thread I understand that it's impossible to activate 3d Terrain on my Nuvi 2595LMT.
Is it possible to get only 2D-terrain shading (with a dem installed) however?

Lots of pages to wade through, but would this mod enable 3d buildings on a 2445? If the mod goes wrong, is there a way of putting back the original firmware?
