    The request was the following:
    1) make sure CF card is empty.
    2) copy gupdate.gcd from dumper-0.20.rar to CF:/garmin/gupdate.gcd
    3) copy new.bin from dumper-0.20.rar to CF:/new.bin
    4) flash gupdate.gcd
    5) send CF:/new.bin to me

And similarly with exst.bin and dumper-0.21.rar. Did you do it like this?

Thank you, but it's 21:25 on my clock already
    In which folder does it create RGN0E.bin, RGN11.bin, RGN13.bin? CF:/ or CF:/garmin/?

dumper-0.20 created this [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and other two files RGN0E.BIN, RGN11.BIN. Both RGN* are zero lenght.
All the three files are in the root directory. No files were created under /garmin

Thank you Now it works as I expected, i.e. new.bin and exst.bin are filled with "HELLO NOEMAN", but not extended. I wonder why it failed previously..
Now I want to test if ReadFile and SeekFile work properly...
Please copy add.bin to CF:/add.bin, flash gupdate.gcd, then send add.bin to me.

The reference the the gl1800 is what the 2006 and newer Honda goldwing is called by many of us. Sorry for the confusion.

Thank you very much. Now everything works fine and I can finally start writing the dumper. It took 23 tests because this Goldwing firmware is really different from other Garmin firmwares.
