Help! Can someone please help me get./find the .rgn file for the Nuvi 1350. It's all I need now to use GarminCure to fix this gps, which I'd mistakenly formatted the internal memory. Please if you have the same gps or know where I can find the fiile, please help me. Please. It was here before but that link is old. Thanks a lot in advance.
What link is old?
Here you have FW
Download and then run garmin cure and tool will create rgn for you, or use rgn tool to create rgn.Code:Please Login or Register to see the links
Hi nesta...
you can create yourself the .rgn file,
just download the right firmware originale
SImply drag'n'drop the file to Garmin Cure , flagging button "original" before pressing "Make firmware" .
That's it !
Then you can use that created xxxxxxxxx.rgn to apply the next step ....
Have a nice day, umbe

Thanks a lot. Thanks a million and thanks forever!
Finally! I'm able to "cure" the gps.
Now what? I don't know.
I can see the GPS in window explore as a hard drive. Because it was formatted in OSX, it has these files in it: .fseventsd, .Spotlight-V100, which is 362 KB (371,548 bytes) and trashes. I have a map, how do I go about installing it? I;m this close, please help.
Thanks a lot!
Thanks to all helping out in this post...please keep the luv coming, we're close to done now! Still booting to Garmin screen, but I think it's because there's no map. But waiting to hear what the next step should be. Thanks a lot guys, I've been at this for a while now, finally I'm hopeful!

The cure fw cannot boot. it's meant to enable you to see the internal files system in Windows Explorer. See Post #1 of the thread. You how need to correctly format it to FAT32 using RMPrepUSB [if you haven't already done so]. Then flash the full original fw so the unit can fully boot [1xxx can boot without internal files]. Then run WebUpdater to replace essential files, then add your maps back. You'll need a basemap and detail map/s, all are available in the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ], or if you have Lifetime maps or paid recently for an new map you can dl it again from Garmin. I'll merge this thread to the Cure3 thread now.

Thanks a lot for this direction, would you please say how I should go about flashing it, after I've formatted it, which I'm about to do now with RMPrepUSB.
I'm trying to get firmware for 1350 from here:
but the site is down, can someone please send me a link to their copy. Also, what tool is used to flash. It's not updater, is it?Code:Please Login or Register to see the links

You should already have the file 3 posts with links above.
Just use garmincure3 in original mode and flash it. (pre-boot mode and updater.exe is the only way to replace the cure with original firmware.)
