    If you have win7 install garmin usb drivers as Administrator
    Make updater.exe compatible to win xp sp 3 and then run as Administratior.

    Here you can create cure and original FW and also you have updater.exe inside:

    I've used exactly the same link (same exe's) without success. The only not tried it is via changing/adding memory card.

    Thank you very much for your effort!

    I've succeed to screenshot it while it is visible to the PC But the updater said that "No updates found for your device" (or similar to that). Is that means that I did not got right firmware? it is 1350 and used the Cure tool I made .RGN from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    I feel almost lost

    Look at garmindevice.xml if you have 0972 or try with this:

    thumbup My thanks to you!

    lolypop000, catymag, paramas, dasilvarsa, thank you!
    Finally I've succeed, no less than 50 times did same and same with all cures and updates - every time I/it fail and suddenly it get to pre-boot every time, nobody knows why... Now the fight continue...
    Thanks once again!

    P.S. When it pre-boot - all tools work - Cure 3, the Updater and the set from lolypop000 - just everything

    1101 is HWID from nuvi 3790 if your nuvi show 34xx then you need FW for 34xx and updater will flash.
    34xx HWID is 1376

    @musketeer

    If my set work than you have HWID 0972
