For JUMP car the solution is clear NONVOL in secret menu. When restart and you has do every your setting, don't touch zoom level on map but turn off your navi. then restart and all is ok. If It's not, clear again NONVOL and now you see that don't jump

You have to navigate to get to the good.

I flashed a 3760lmt from 4.90 to 3490 7.20 following the instructions in the first post. Then I flashed the logo in pre-boot mode (34xx_350_logo_hid1376.rar). Then I flashed (convert37x34.zip) via SD card.

    1) When the unit boots up it still shows 3760 while it is starting up. In the about screen, it is running the 7.20 software, but the model is still listed as 3760. In the "Inventory" diagnostic screen, Boot BLK, X-Loader, System" all show 3760. Is this normal?

    2) Also while the unit is booting up, the Garmin logo jumps upwards and a bit to the right, before centering again. Is this normal?

    3) "Map updates are not applicable to this device." - nevermind

Thank you again for you help.

    3) When I connect the device to myDashboard, it says "Map updates are not applicable to this device." and there is no option to update the maps. MyDashboard recognizes it as 3760LMT which is normal, but how do I get the updates to work?
Thank you again for you help.
    1. It's normal to show 3760 while booting. But in inventory page must be 3490 (HwID 1376): [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    2. Normal. I had this some time ago. After some firmware updates logo "jumping" gone.
    3. After 37xx update to 3490, device must be recognized as 3490.

B1376 in inventory page means that you have 34xx series device. Webupdater (and Mydashboard) must recognize it as Nuvi 3490.

Works for me, I attach the file here, use FF , IE8 has problems with our server-

To make a backup , enable hidden files in Windows and copy the whole content (.System included) of your nuvi to pc.It should be better to backup your NV too.
    See this thread:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

To make the NV backup with sd.
    ***Hidden content cannot be quoted.***
6-Insert the sd in your nuvi, you'll see at boot a software loading message and nuvi will write your NV backup in sd, let it reboot, shut it down, remove the sd and keep your Nuvi NV backup in a safe place.

To restore it replace command with:
    xrgn,41,1:/41.bin
    reboot

I'm really sorry about asking the same again and again but it still doesnt work for me; I did it step by step like post 337 and i dont see any new archive in the NV sd backup,i also let reboot 3 times to ensure backup ,i'm scare about it ,it's hardware, memory or something else issue ? i also renamed Txt ,Voices and Keyboards folders before.
I dont want to make any change before i backup the NV.
What else do yo suggest me to do?

    This is my backup

NV backup file REMOVED BY catymag read the post below this one , delete the file from Netload to avoid your Nuvi cloning, read my pm -

so enable hidden files in Windows and copy the whole content (.System included) of your nuvi to pc. If you do like catymag's guide, everything will be ok
