    If you do that, how many hours would a fully-charged battery last?

    More Tips.
    Make sure nuvi battery is 100% press battery Icon and charge nuvi whole night.
    When in tube train or bus memorize where to get off and power save nuvi.
    When walking long road memorize next turn and put nuvi into power save.
    When inside building power save nuvi.

    No Voice Guided Navigation.
    If you have cityXplorer Maps loaded it will use public transport.
    Different look and feel on Navigation screen.

    Since it's possibele to make a 3790 become a 3490, is it possible to make a 3490 into a 3790?

    I ask because the POI icons on the 3790 are "normal" and I want to make my 3490 into a 3790 on occasion if it's possible.

    Nuvi 3790 only show custom POI but don't show food or other POI icon ( integrated in maps ).
    You can convert 3490 --> 3790.

    I believe it's because 34xx firmware is too big, so the 37xx bootloader crashes while reading it. This also explains why some older 34xx firmware versions work fine with 37xx bootloader.
    This issue could be fixed by compressing 34xx firmware and adding a special loader which would decompress it when executed. In a few weeks I will probably finish that piece of software and post here something for testing.
