35xx is 5 inch big screen maybe the firmware is unique for specific resolution and screen size and make.

Accuracy is very good for 35xx series.
I have problems on 3590 too. It is curiosity! No problem with routing and road position on the most of old Garmin unit but not on 34xx and 35xx.
If I use adjacent maps together (Russian and Europe) I need have dancing with a tambourines where tambourines are in SID folder. Without shamanic dance I have route through all the capitals of the Old World instead regular tour on weekend for shopping...

I will repeat: May be Garmin thinks what all maps for this device are also perfect as this Nuvi by default

I think that you have a GPI file in your Nuvi that Has a speedcam POI that is set to a radius of some KM instead of say 400 meters.
First step is to delete all your speedcam .GPI Files (backup first) to see if the problem goes away.

That symbol on the left top of the screen, you should see if more POIs contemporary (2 or +) . Click on above look exactly the specs of the POI

Can you save and post a screenshot? Tomorrow, if I can save it and place too

    Bye,bye

i followed the instructions step by step and get my 3760t converted to 3490 the problem is ,when starting it displays the model number trunkated, just the two first numbers 34xx even if i revert to original version it displays the same 37xx in webupdater it shows the same 34xx not 3490 or 37xx not 3760 the last ones replaced by "xx"and when loading maps it shows just a tiny c not the whole text of copyrights after the warning's it shows the message "cannot unlock maps" when i browse the map's folder, there nothing in it
