OK, here is the deal after almost 2 weeks of testing.

Everything was working fine, apart from a couple of drops of EcoRouteHD device during driving, however, today, after we have arrived at destination, I took it out of the cradle and when I pugged in back in, I have lost all "options" inclusive of bluetooth, and device has "abnormal shutdown", did not show the map, although it was showing the road I have been driving at. After hard reset, same again, however, this time it has been showing the map on the screen. Also, what I have noted previously to this was when I have been driving without navigation, just showing where I'm going, the "car" had been "jumping" similar to what some other people here have been reporting in when used in test "NonSat" mode.

Once I got home, I have copied all XML files with features, rebooted, cleared all data, and rebooted again. Paired it again with phone and ECORouteHD. Seems fine now....

    Did you check the charger?
    Does the led turn on?
Mine had the adapter's pin stuck all the way inside the adapter once and the all the system was out of power.

Hi... yeap there was power... in fact the unit shows charging.... but it can never detect the traffic adapter properly....
I guess just bad luck that cradle can also get spoilt.....

Before you buy another cradle make sure that it's not the 37xx unit or the power adapter.
The FM radio receiver is inside the power adapter cable.
Sometimes the cradle interface pins on the 37xx unit can be faulty.
Maybe you have a friend with a 37xx and can do process of elimination.

My first 3790 last year had a problem from day one that it could not use speaker in the cradle and also could not get traffic update. I had to send it back to retailer as it was within first 30 days of purchase and got another one that worked perfectly. At first I have contacted Garmin and they have sent me another cradle free of charge and there was same problem, so I ended up 2 perfectly good cradles. This one has been good, so far... Saying that, in UK we have fair use policy of 5 years and if the unit fails within 5 years of purchase, you can get refund for the remainder of 5 years to use with the same retailer.

If your unit is still under warranty, contact Garmin for repair....more likely than not, you'll get a new unit......
