On mine, I lose features when not present at all. They are probably disabled by default.
It doesn't look like I need to put all features, most of features are active all the time. Volume menu is probably connected to Bluetooth, was changed, when BT disappeared.

You have to navigate to get to the good.
Galaxy S5 Kitkat 4.4.2 / Nuvi1200->1250 / Nuvi3790T->34xx / Nuvi 2200 / Nuvi 66 / Oregon 600
Once you enable 3D-Building / 3D-Terrain ., you can disable by "Map Layers" menu.
So week protection of payable features... Looks like this is a part of Garmin's strategy. There was no need to introduce those multiple XMLs, really. All the functionality was already present in 13xx/14xx inside one XML.
@ kunix
Hi kunix,
Do you know is it possible Routes in 13xx to be enabled via OEM.xml? I tried couple of ways but couldn't figure out how. I thought routes are locked to the screen resolution.All the functionality was already present in 13xx/14xx inside one XML.
Cheers,
I used to do it by "classic" device version lifting. Also I don't see the corresponding option among allowed tags. Looks like it can't be enabled with XML.
@ddabcd277
Is OEM.xml in Garmin folder?
What is in this OEM.xml,can you upload it,i try it.
Garmin places the emphasis on maps in device, but not on features. It is general strategy of Garmin on non MPC markets. I know this strategy by Europe market. For MPC markets Garmin have no strategy That is obvious when you look at twisted prices on this market like Russia!
Garmin, how much is 30 pieces of silver for Judas today? Were they worthy for crucifix of GPSPower?
