    Perfect. But what about 37xx flashing to 34xx using boot from 34xx ?

    Works perfectly. HWID will change, but will come back to original value when flashing back to 37xx. Tested by SiamMarine.

    @ turbo.,
    You know about that. ! We can go to 34xx by 34xx boot.bin
    The different is
    - with hwid 1101 --> boot = Fail
    - with hwid 1376 --> boot = Pass
    d82cfc21223312e6fa4fa417f8d74b34
    all reversible process.

    Logo above not from 34xxLogo.bin., just from 37xx Logo.bin file

    Yes I know Boot fail is shown but there is no other side effect to it. Mine has been showing the same but I do not care.

    Regardless of any issues, you can always go back without problems.

    So exactly which boot it is? form 37xx with HID 1376 or original form 34xx with no changes?

    I agree that nuvi 37xx is very resilient for foreign firmware. The only problem is, that sometimes it doesn't want to start at all
    Last time it started only after hard reset when connected to PC.

    hwid 1376 on 37xx.
    I'd like to say 37xx is never die.
    I faced 37xx with black screen., no logo.., nothing on screen but "a little light" that let me access into preboot mode.
    So if your 37xx is dead and you don't want to get it then you can throw it to me.
