    I Installed PouchX's 3.61 firmware and it's working. However this firmware doesn't have features I need and I would like to revert it back to its old firmware. I copied all of the old files including the GUPDATE.GCD file. What is the process to revert back to the old firmware?

    Have you tried Webupdater or My Dashboard ?
    Maybe PouchX's version is the same as your gupdate.gcd (The device will not auto flash in this case)
    You could flash the device using updater.exe. Pre-boot mode
    Make a rgn from Real US Firmware.
    Remove Gupdate.gcd from device.(if using pre-boot mode)

    Using the Garmin RGN_Tool v0.82 created by TurboCCC I made the RGN file from the Nuvi's original GUPDATE.GCD. It was 5 kb smaller, 8,700kb instead of 8,705kb. My Nuvi was a 205W having HWID 827 and software version 760. The update changed it to a Nuvi 465 having HWID 827 and software version 361.

    Where do I get Updater.exe? I have the one from the previous post. It's version 2.8.0.0 and seems to point to the file 094301000370.rgn. When running with my rgn that has a different name it says "no files could be found...". I read you can drop the rgn file on updater to run. Is this the way to do it or do I need a different updater.exe?

    I was able to flash it back using the original GUPDATE.GCD converted to a RGN file using updater.

    The issues now are the boot screen says PouchX and "Splash" shows up as failed:
    Splash D0825-12 2.20 4.3" Splash Screen,CHN,TTS+ Fail

    The original Inventory screen showed:
    Splash D0825-14 2.10 Nuvi Splash Screen, WS PASS

    Several Posts back there is a download that's supposed to fix this however it was for the PouchX firmware that is no longer (or at least not completely) there.
    Should I use the screen fix from several posts back or will this cause issues or brick the Garmin 205w?

    If you just want the U.S. logo.bin, can use these my files.
    But watch what is the correct HWID of your gps.
    PS: bin boot is outdated. But the logo can be used.

    HWID=827
