    I understand. Most probably is the memory. Can you load only the boot with Updater.exe?

    update succesful for the first time, but nothing changed still only garmin logo

    So as a conclusion - you can't load the main firmware and the resources part of it to the memory...hmmm...I don't know. I am sorry.

    Ummm... I never heard nuvi can be bricked by itself (with condition of normally usage before the problem happened) without taking action by human!!

    What about HWID ?? ( System software missing means something wrong for HWID)
    HWID won't be changed by itself.

    HWID is stored within memory.
    Memory won't be changed by itself too.

    I know only what he told me and and i hoped for a software error because otherwise means a physical memory malfunction and that cannot be undone..... but now am pretty sure i was wrong
