Only Thai OS can use Thai JCV.
I'm sorry to say no way to modify other 37xx region to use Thai firmware (till now).

    Your choice is
    1). Sg/My 2.30 (No calendar., No contact)
2). CHN 2.20 (get Calendar & Contact but have no co-ordinate feature)

Taiwan 2.30 has many bugs., Thai 2.10 also.

    I use 3790US with Sg/My 2.30
    No Thai jcv .

Sg/My give us option to display half or full screen JCV as below.

    uyexyemn4jsozylp7cc

And we will get the real time Lane Assist on the full screen JCV displaying.

Will I not be able to use the EcoRoute HD with the SG/MY 2.30? I have one connected to my vehicle.

Guide Make sure the Garmin is not "navigating" when you plug it in

Mine did the same thing i.e. endless reboot loop when connected to USB, but ONLY if it was navigating to a destination. The solution was to unplug from USB, hit stop then reconnect.
