I am trying to run Garmin on my Lokatoo A903 (with wince 6.0) but without any luck. I managed to get the software running but the SW.UNL code does not work. Anybody had any luck getting it to run on this GPS?
There is a unit ID number:17826272 but it does not show a SD card number. Appreciate very much if someone can share to ***** this.

    Thanks for any help.

Default [ce] Garmin Mobile XT 5.00.30w -- if you failed

I did meet some trouble with this Artful version.

    1. No matter how you config com port setting in Garmin GUI, it automatically use the port it detectes first. Best way might be disable gps, quit the programe and change registry setting.
I could not promise it always work, because next time you disable-enable gps unit , the first detected port will be engaged however you change it in GUI.

    2. How to install on CE ? the answer is impossible and forget about install.exe. Garmin Mobile XT is never designed for Windows CE or PND. You could not expect Garmin make programs for any other brand PND.

BUT THE FIRST STEP IS VERY IMPORTANT. You need to start explorer.exe (at least has a windows desktop), and then launch que.exe in explorer. I cannot explain but the fact is IF it is your 1st time to launch Garmin, SDMMC\GARMIN\RunGMXT\Garmin.exe always fails.

Some of you might understand it is exactly what garmin.exe does. But in CE6 with any version of MortScript, it just fails at the first launch. The good news is that from then on (after launched que.exe in explorer), you can access SDMMC\GARMIN\RunGMXT\Garmin.exe to launch Garmin Mobile XT.

    3. When you find an error "insert .... Garmin SD card", dont bother. delete the folder of "/garmin" in system partition, and empty 'sdmmc/garmin/garmin' + registry keys. You don't even need to format SDcard. After these, roll back to chap.2.

    4. share my Garmin.mscr here :
4.1 I deleted command for backuping garmin settings, because garmin 5.00.30w will use sdmmc\garmin\garmin.
4.2 you might need to change CE taskbar and starmenu setting. uncheck "always on top", check "autohide" for best display effect.
    Code:
    Errorlevel("warn")

    If(WndExists("Garmin Mobile XT"))
    	Show("Garmin Mobile XT")
    	Exit
    EndIf

    isExplorerRunning = ProcExists("explorer.exe")

    #Run explorer.exe if not running
    If(not isExplorerRunning)
    	RunWait("\Windows\explorer.exe")
    	Sleep(300)
    EndIf

    #Hide Taskbar
    Run(SystemPath("ScriptPath")\"TaskbarHide.exe")

    #Run Garmin Mobile XT.
#This script will not go to the next command before que.exe completely shut down
    RunWait(SystemPath("ScriptPath")\"..\Apps\WM\que.exe")

    If(not isExplorerRunning)
    	If(ProcExists("explorer.exe"))
    		Kill("explorer.exe")
    	EndIf
    EndIf

    #Show Taskbar
    Run(SystemPath("ScriptPath")\"TaskbarShow.exe")
    Regards

But how to backup favorite POI in this version ? I don't know. Please share your experience too.

    Hi all....
I'm able to run Garmin on PND Chinese using artful version v5.00.20w.
    The steps as follows:
    1. Extract the file and copy it to memory card in the root directory (\SDMMC\Garmin)
    2. Generate unlock code with jetmouse. In Unit ID type 0.
    3. Save unlock code given jetmouse in the file SW.UNL. You can use notepad but remember to save with name "SW.UNL" not "SW.UNL.txt" by default. Copy to \SDMMC\Garmin.
    4. Copy your unlocked map (gmapsupp.img) in \SDMMC\Garmin. If you have locked map, then you must unlock with Garmin Unlocker. You can not use jetmouse to unlock the map.
    In PND:
    - Open windows explorer then run \SDMMC\Garmin\Apps\WM\Que.exe.
    or
    - run \SDMMC\Garmin\RunGMXT\Garmin.exe if you can't run Windows Explorer. See @betahash above

    hopefully helpful. Thanks.

I've succesfully download track log from Garmin Mobile XT in PND Chinese with mapsource in windows Vista
and I think it can be used to download POI too.
First connect PND with activesync in windows vista. Run Garmin Mobile XT in PND.
In windows Vista run Mapsource then select menu Transfer > Receive from Device...

Why can the JetMouse keygen produce more than one code for any given ID.
There can be only one surely?
Keep pressing generate and you can get any number of codes.....what's that all about?
