    Hi,

Just install v5.0.0.30 and do the following, seems to have fixed the Battery Drain issue.

    1. Launch GarminMXT v5.0.0.30, goto Tools -> Settings -> System -> Launch Background Services and change to ENABLED.
    2. Close GarminMXT, re-start and goto Tools -> Settings -> System -> Launch Background Services and change to DISABLED
    3. Turn OFF i560
    4. Turn ON i560

    Now, you should find:
    1. TSRAutoStart.exe doesn't start when you first turn ON your i560
    2. TSRAutoStart.exe now CLOSES automatically when you exit GarminMXT v5.0.0.30

It appears that GarminMXT v5.0.0.30 when being installed, doesn't create the DISABLED entry and has to be done manually by setting to ENABLE, then DISABLE.

I think this maybe Garmin's FIX to the battery drain problem.

    Cheerz ;^)

    Question GarminMobileXT v.5.00.20 Patched-longlasting battery

    Hi all,

Has anyone used this version and does it work? I'm currently using 5.00.40 but it has a few bugs it seems. (6 things I noticed: 1: it is slow to catch signal, 2: It loses signal easily, 3: when I disable and immediately re-enable GPS it has signal again, so must be a bug, 4: doesn't show the names of approaching streets in 3D mode / view, 5: autozoom not working, 6: colorscheme sucks. Maybe it will improve in future versions.) That's why I want to try this version.
