also, when you create your SW.UNL and GMAPSUPP.UNL files, don't forget to delete the .txt off the file name. On your phone, locate the SW.UNL and GMAPSUPP.UNL files and select 'rename' and if they say SW.UNL.txt and GMAPSUPP.UNL.txt then just delete the .txt off each

Default No I have not yet unlocked GMAPSUPP.UNL file

With Garmin XT and an n78 do you have any documentation that would show me how to do this?

Yes, just run setup.exe from the downloaded v5.00.20 package when your phone is in data transfer mode. Then, goto E:\GarminMobileXT.sis and run that to complete your upgrade to v5.00.20

    HI guys.
Good work with the continuous updating.
I just have a quick question.
I currently use the Version 4 of Garmin XT. It runs well and I have no problems. Currently downloading Mapsource North America maps for it as I'm from Canada and need Canadian part of the maps.

However, as far as the basic program goes, my questions are for this version v/s the version 4 that I currently use:-
    1) Does it perform faster?
    2) What is the effect on battery drain? No difference? Uses more? Uses less?
    3) Is it more stable?

I like the big displays in the Version 4 and pretty graphics or any other fancy stuff doesn't effect me as long as the old version is as efficient as the newer one in performing it's basic task i.e. it's purpose -> Navigating me.

    Thanks guys.
    Cheers!
    RJ
