I am not too sure about battery consumption. I normally have my charger on when i use Garmin while driving. I hate it whenever i get a low batt upon arriving the destination.

    Feature i like :
    - interface looks better than ver 4xx
    - able to change the standard arrow icon to many different icon available in the web. There are program that can create your own icon. Maybe can snap some pic of your ride to put it in.

If you are familiar with WM devices, it is the same for Symbian. To unlock the maps you will need your Unit ID with the Key Gen to create the *.unl file. If you have the tools you can also unlock the map and use it without the *.unl file.

Our Super Woman Catymag has very good example on the above as well. Please do a search, should help.

    Cheers

Thanks for your response I know very well garmin products I have instaled in may devices and sicne I have the original maps already unlocked I havent had problems.

This is the first time Ihave problems, I install the XT in the E71 and unlock the Gps with the SW.unl, I install the map in the mini sd card with mapsource but when I try to use it, I get the message unlocked map, then I apply the unlocker and create the unl file.

I want to understand why tis time the original maps did not work??

    regards
