help HELP! StreetPilot 216 on Android JB 4.1.x: Unlocked Maps not visible

    Dear Garmin Masters,
    1. I have successfully installed "StreetPilot_216_no_root_sdcard.apk" from this forum on my Android JB 4.1.x device [Blaupunkt Cape Town 945]. And I have changed the ApK for Map Path using [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. I have Garmin Folder on my External SD Card.
There is no write permission issue on my External SD card as I have checked it with "NextApp SDFiX" utility.

    2. I am using Map from City Navigator India NT 2016.20 HERE [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
    3. I have a proper folder structure in my device so Program opens and I am able to see all the Home screen, Search, settings, etc.

But the problem is, I can not see map which is already unlocked (using "gimgunlock-0.03+MapSigPatch") and copied in Garmin\Map\gmapprom.img

Also, as suggested by our Master Neil, I tried to copy the maps to Garmin\.System\gmapprom.img, but no luck. Even tried to rename, but no luck.

It does not show up in Settings--> Map & Vehicle --> my Maps
When I select "View Map", it shows a Blank Screen (no current location map) with Navigation Arrow.

(I have tested the same maps successfully on other mobile device [Samsung Note 2] running on StreetPilot 2.36, Android 4.4.2)

I am wondering, why is not then working on my Blaupunkt device?

    Please help.
I appreciate and thank you masters!

    Regards
    Dinesh

    Hi JulianAssa,
Can you please send me apk v2.22 for the path "/mnt/sdcard/sd_media/Garmin/"
As per "Total Commander" this is my actual path for external SD card.

It would be really helpful and I can try it.

    Thank you.
    Regards
    Dinesh

    Dear catymag.

Thank you very much for the suggestion and link. However, I had to search a lot for SP v2.2, as the links in the page were down. But finally, I managed to get it and change the Map Path using "SPpathchanger"

OMG, it finally SP v.2.2 worked like a charm! Attached is the screen shot of my device.

I am able to see all the contents, Maps and also voices (both normal and TTS) are working perfect.

@ Friend JulianAssa: Thank you for your apk as well. I will try to change the Map Path in your apk and will give it a try.

Finally, I have now iGo Primo (Classic), iGO Navigation (Google Play version), Sygic 16.2.4 (stable with latest TA 2016 Q2 Maps), Navigon 6.2 and Garmin SP v2.2 all in my Blaupunkt...@Credit to respective uploaders/Modmakers.

    Feeling like travelling in Globe.

What is missing now is TomTom, which I am unable to get for my device.

    Thank you so much Masters.

    Regards
    Dinesh
