Guys, you can try to run Garmin on Android x86-based devices via something called libhoudini.
As far as I know it's a closed-sourse ARM emulator for x86 using binary translation. So it will emulated your ARM libgarmin.so.
I've never tried it myself, but who knows, maybe it works?

SP is heavily reliant on OpenGL ES feature. Even on ARMs, supported video device is almost limited to Mali and Adreno. We could hardly have any chance to get it work on X86 PC.
I heard someone got 2.16 worked on a X86 phone (w/ PowerVR GPU and Android 4.1.2), that's the only exception.

    Dear flagmax and other Masters,
I have Blaupunkt CapeTown 945 running on Android Jelly Bean (4.1.1).
Unfortunately, this Garmin Streetpilot version is not compatible (I tried, but it crashes!), as it requires atleast. 4.2.2 Android.

Please help me to get suitable version for me.

    Thank you in advance.

    Regards
    Dinesh

Thank you so much. Btw, the search function on main page is working for POI, i.e. Restaurants, but not for street names. But that's not a big deal. Thank you so much!
Here is an update on my experience with SP 2.37 on Samsung S4 mini:

It is running (almost) stable as a rock with City Navigator.

There are some problems when I activate 3D buildings in CN North America (tried up to 2017.20 NT) and drive into an area with heavy 3D scenery, like Downtown LA or along the Vegas Strip. The display of 3D buildings is amazing, but after a while the map display hangs or has missing tiles, moves slowly and doesn't auto zoom anymore. At this point it is possible to immediately stop and start SP again to resume normal function. If I wait too long or just let it running, SP crashes after a while and sometimes the phone reboots. I had this issue with SP 2.35 and installing SP 2.37 didn't solve this issue. The only way to avoid crashes or freezes is to disable 3D buildings when driving into areas with heavy 3D scenery. Are there any suggestions, is this a known bug? It might be just too much system load to display the map with 3D and DEM on that device?

Another minor issue is that even with the "USB Charging Fix", SP can stop in the middle of driving/navigating ("Street Pilot has stopped"), just like it used to do without the USB fix while plugging in the power cable. But this happens now without touching the cable. It's been a few times only, so it hasn't been a problem for me.

It seems like SP has problems when mixing IMG files of NT and non-NT maps in the Maps folder. I had CN North America and Topo US West on the device, but disabled Topo US. I noticed that CN works fine, but it doesn't display the speed limit of the road I am driving anymore. The speed limit only comes back when I reach an area where the coverage of the non-NT Topo ends. Funny enough, it didn't help to disable the US Topo West. It remained checked (selected) when reopening the map setup page in SP. What I had to do is physically move the IMG file of the non-NT map to a location outside of the SP path. After that CN North America had no issues and displayed the speed limits correctly again. This just for information to those who had similar problems with missing speed limit display and couldn't find the cause / solution yet.

Again, it's a great piece of work and many many thanks to those who made it possible to run Street Pilot on Android phones.

Updated my phone to marshmallow and now I can't use streetpilot! I tried every combination on the Samsung S5 - sdcard, ext sdcard, different directories - nothing works and this thread confirms it's a dud for android 6.0. Anyone know why it doesn't work, any specific issues with 6.0 that prevents it starting, so that a solution can be found?

I confess I don't use streetpilot much. The app has always had problems with crashing, though I had it working well on the S5 with android 5.0. For driving, Sygic is much better imo, but Garmin has great topo maps that are the best for hiking.

I managed to get Garmin topo maps working in Oruxmaps on my phone, but rendering is slow and it doesn't handle text well. Tracks and contours are fine, so it is certainly usable for hiking, but streepilot handled them much better and it would be great to get streetpilot back for Android 6.0.

I also managed to get topo maps working with Viago: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Viago is not as good Streetpilot, and a lot of maps just won't work, but it will run on Android 6.0.
