You must make sure the path is exactly the same as on device. If its "storage" then must be "storage", "Storage" will not work.
So you tried?
Make sure you restart device after installing.
Confirmed the path is /storage/sdcard1/Garmin. (small "s")
Installation no problem, device rebooted after install, once launching to the first page "Select Country", all the buttons doesn't work
and have to force close SP, but if i move Garmin folder to internal drive, it work perfectly.
There's a APP write access control to SD card since Android version 4.4, which limites it to [SD root]/Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/files/.
So I think changing the path with SPPC to [SD root]/Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/files/Garmin should work.
tried to find an answer but no success. The split screen junction view is not working in Landscape mode. NT2017. Fine in portrait mode. Anybody got it right? solution?
I install Garmin android 5.1.1 on sd card:
Install Garmin in the intern card, cut the folder (ES Explorer) and past it on external SD card - Android - data and than the Garmin foldern.
Now delete Garmin APK, only the Garmin APK and hold the other dates, and now install the new Garmin APK (here is it: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]). Put the world map and maps what you need into the folder map. Android worked with maps bigger than 2 GB.
Tomorrow is today yesterday
May i clarify your steps as below, kindly amend which step is wrong, thanks.
1) Install SP into internal storage with "SP2.37_storage_sdcard0_Garmin_chargefix.apk"
Need to reboot device and do a first SP launch? If not, after install, straight away cut the Garmin folder?
2) Cut the "Garmin" folder from internal storage and paste it to external storage in /Android/Data
3) Delete "SP2.37_storage_sdcard0_Garmin_chargefix.apk"
4) Install SP with "StreetPilot_2.37_storage_sdcard1_Android_data.apk" , reboot device and launch SP.
