Question Can Streetpilot run on Android tablet with Intel CPU? = No

    Hi,

Does anyone know if streetpilot will run on a andriod tablet with intel CPU ( Asus Memo Pad 7" kitkat, 1200x800 px screen), and if so what version of street pilot that will run.

I have tried a few different versions of streetpilot off of here (2.33 / 2.35 / 2.37), but they always come up with the error "unfortunately steepilot has stopped" when I try to launch the app.

Thanks in advance for any help.

Street Pilot works with Intel Atom!!! Try to use version 2.16. The only difference - I have Jelly Bean 4.1.2. My device is rooted, but the same version was OK for the not rooted phone.

@Adainius - thanks for the info. I tried to use 2.16 it but is doesnt work. I tried to modify the directory with Street Pilot Path Changer 2.6, as thought that might be the problem, however i always get the error "error: unable to recognize .so" when trying to change to:
    /Removable/MicroSD/Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/files/Garmin/

    Any ideas ?

Street Pilot Path Changer 2.6 doesn't recognize old versions .so (may be available in next version)
You have to edit apk and libgarminos.so manually or try to find them in SP 2.16 thread.

    Talking

    Dears,

I tried Path Changer 2.7 to change directory of StreetPilot release 2.16.
This Path Changer can't modify, like a old 2.6
I don't have experience to modify libgarminos, but I have other question:
StreetPilot release 2.16 can't work having Android 4.4.2, like my Asus NotePad 7 (ME 70C), ARM CPU Intel.
    Right ?
    Please replay about.

Message to Tahunasky: do You have solved?
My notepad have same directory /Removable/MicroSD/Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/files/Garmin/.
On the other hand, I tried StreetPilot 2.33, 2.35 and 2.38 too, in which Path Changer 2.7 works.
Releases 2.33, 2.35 and 2.38 have not worked.

Message to Catymag: do You have suggestions?

    Thanks in advance
(sorry for my rudimentary english language)

Path Changer 2.7 works with the file posted by godoane in my thread:

Tested personally (2.22 is not official Asus version, but a modded 2.16) as said in [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

To install SP in other Android versions look at this Index:

    To Chinnachot
I will test SP 2.16 tonight, after change directory (/Removable/MicroSd/ ....) like a Catymag suggestion.
Yesterday, I unsuccessfully tried to make new directory (please check my previous post)

    To Chinnachot & Catymag
Please, pay attention: my Android release is 4.4.2
As I understand it, I will not have outcome, because of Android release.

In any case, tonight I will tray more carefully.

    Thanks
