    To Chinnachot & Catymag

    Dears,

SP 2.22 release (like a 2.16 modded), after Path Changer 2.7 work, don't install.
I think that's correct, because Android 4.4.2. release of my Tablet.

About StreetPilot 2.16 release, in file StreetPilot_A80.apk:
Sorry for my incompetence. I can't find it.
But, i suggest SP 2.16 can't work, in same way ....., because Android release ....

That's all, for the moment ....

    Bye

@ istorna - I did manage to change the SP 2.16 path with Path Changer 2.7, however it didnt fix the problem. SP installed but still the same error. I will look into it again later when i have some more time.

    Thanks.

    I have last doubt:

ASUS PADFONE have GARMIN STREETPILOT on board, and his platform is: Intel Atom Z2560 Dual Processor ...

My ASUS MemoPad 7 have Intel Atom Z2520 Dual Processor.

I understand that having two similar names do not mean anything, .... but You understad why a doubt remains in my mind ....

What is the model number of Asus Padfone with Intel Atom and StreetPilot on board? Maybe there is Streetpilot that was compiled for Intel.

As you know Streetpilot for Android is not retail and have been ported/hacked from an Asus device. All the security checks have been neutralized.

For StreetPilot to work on another device, all the hardware and software must be similar to original Asus device. They need to speak same language.

For one, the CPU must match. If they don't then Streetpilot will crash on first machine command.

All the Streetpilot versions I have looked at are compiled for ARM processor architecture language. I am not aware of Intel version.

The other important thing besides your CPU is GPU. The GPUs runs OpenGL code inside Streetpilot libgarminos.so for fast 3d graphics. Your Android must support the correct OpenGL version for StreetPilot to work.

Streetpilot 2.3x requires OpenGL 2.0. Older versions of Streetpilot use OpenGL 1.0.

Also some GPUs are not compatible even though they support OpenGL 2.0, why I don't know.

I hope this info clears some things up.

    @istorna

Asus PadFone serials are using Qualcomm SoC
Asus ZenPhone and FonePad serials are using Intel SoC

Only PadFone serials have Garmin StreetPolit inside.

With all the information we have so far, We can NOT run Streetpilot for Garmin on devices with Intel CPU. If in the future there will be an Intel release, we will start a new thread.

    Thank you.
