i have a Samsung Galaxy S2 l9100G running on Cyanogenmod 11 4.4.4 kitkat custom rom. installed every Street Pilot version i can try but all the time, gave me just plane white screen and it is frozen. i never had this on my other SGS2 l9100. attached is the link of the logcat of the problematic l9100G for your reference. perhaps it can help you diagnose what's causing it and eventually find a work around and maybe shed some light at the edge of the tunnel. i am not really sure if i have made logcat correct. to be honest with you, this is my first time to create a logcat.

    ?

    I have an odd issue.
First i downloaded the 2.35 960x540 release from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Then i patched that apk with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to match the Garmin folder on the external memory. (/mnt/extSdCard/Garmin) This all worked well and installed everything without problems.
But when he was actually using the app he realised the mistake.. the aspect ratio is off, We should've used the 840x480 version for his device. So i downloaded the 840x480 release as found [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]. Again i used [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] to patch the apk to match the Garmin folder location as it is not listed in post #1 in the thread.
But now when he tries to run this patched 840x480 version he immediately gets the "StreetPilot is only available in PadFone mode" error messages and refused to load.
Weird.. so i tried a "regular" version of the 840x400 release without patching anything myself, just for testing purposes and same "StreetPilot is only available in PadFone mode".
I decide to test this on my own device; Galaxy Tab S, Android 4.4.2 (rooted) @ 2560x1600. Same thing happened, 960x540 version works fine but the 840x480 version refuses to load with the "StreetPilot is only available in PadFone mode" error.
What am i doing wrong that i get the 960x540 version working on two different devices, even when patched myself, without problems but i can't get the 840x480 version to work on either of them?

That version works like a charm. Had to patch it again to match my external storage location but after that i runs without problems.
StreetPilot also have the correct aspect ratio now, see the screenshot. The circles on the main menu are actually round now
    Many thanks!

Interesting, so is the resolution of the device the screenshot from is 1600x1000? You tried 960x540 on same device and it looked wrong aspect? Can you get 960x540 screenshot in landscape, I am curious if the "Where To" covered by volume? Maybe this is a way to fix a long time problem we had with wrong aspect ratio on some devices.

Hmm i don't know why Tinypic decided to rescale my picture... anyway i do not have/use a 1600x1000 screen.
Ok here are two new screenshots, one with the 960x540 app installed and one with the 800x480 app installed. Both pictures are made using the same device; Samsung Galaxy Tab S 8.4 running Android 4.4.2 (rooted) @2560x1600 resolution.

With the 960x540 version the "Where to" and "Volume" are not overlapping but the 3 blue menu buttons look like "eggs" and are not round. Same goes when navigating. The max speed signs are not round and the 3 option buttons at the right side of the map screen are not round either. All in all the 960x540 version looks/feels "off" to me, not right aspect ratio on my 2560x1600 resolution device.

    I have two small questions.
I downloaded and installed the .JVC file for Nuvi40/50 from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] as instructed in post #1 of this thread. Now it looks like this on my device:

I downloaded the voice pack from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and it seems that all the additional voices are played at 1/10 of the normal speed and so being unusable (Nederlands__Lieke.vpm for example). The standard voices (Nederlands__.vpm for example) are working correctly. Is this a compatibility issue or did i miss an important step when installing this?

Unfortunately that 40/50 JCV is the only one showing in SP as I know in City Navigators (except some Asian ones), but you can test other files and give feedback, may be something changed in new APKs.
Don't forget this is a ported application that should work on Taiwan, Chinese Asus devices only.
This applies to voices too I guess. Must test and test
