Run root explorer and create print screen and post picture here, so we can see what different path you have for external SD.

You can also try to install total commander on your device and look what path you will have writen under sdcard2 and let us know.

    Put Garmin here
    /storage/extSdCard/Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/files/Garmin/
That file I tried as I said.... but I didn't put "Garmin" folder at that path...

Now I tried again to do it as you said:

    - First install apk
    - After, without run the installed application I gone to SD card to see that folder, but it wasn't there...
    - When I runned application and just closed it, folder /storage/extSdCard/Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/files/Garmin/ created in SD card...
    - After that, while I had USB cable in the phone, tried to copy Garmin folder, but it wasn't let me to copy ".System" folder....
    - So I closed phone, I put out SD card in a card reader and I copied all!!! (maps, voices, languages etc)
    - Place again SD card in the phone, open application and YES!!!! Works!!!!

    Many many many thanks!!!!

Hello friends. I have big problem with landscape mode. The path is /storage/sdcard1/Garmin/ -Garmin only run correct in portret mode. Is it possible to see this version is correct landscape bug. I have sony xperi z ultra and 10 time install 2.35 with this correct path /storage/sdcard1/Garmin/ but there is no good finish after everything. Clean everything -cache,favourite, uninstall application, install again but without result. Version 2.35 for 4.4.2 -4.4.4 works correct most of the time(portret, landscape), but today I don't now why, lost gps position after 2 hours -I think this is becouse is not correct version install.

The bigger file D3048170A.JCV doesn't seem to work (when JCV comes on, there is only a grey screen instead of the image) and the smaller file D3589140A.JCV does show JCV, but it looks terribly in landscape mode (the JCV image is displayed in full screen and looks strangely stretched from side to side). I tried to turn off highway mode, but the result is the same. With portrait mode it is much better, with a split screen JCV in the upper half and the routing map in the lower half. I wished there was a way to have a split screen display with landscape mode, too. Is there any way to do that, maybe with a different JCV file or setting? Or is it a specific problem with my phone, which has the optimal screen resolution of 960x540. Anyway, great piece of work! Thank you so much!
I have the same problem, only that i use City navigator Europe NT 2015.20 unlocked IMG.. i've tried both..JCV files...small and big (D3084140A and D2504170A). But there is no image of the exit in either case.. if i use big JCV file, there is grey screen on the side where the image should be..and there is no lane assisit.. but if i use small file, there is no split screen, no image, just in the middle on the bottom of the screen it shows a small image of lanes i should follow..
(i hope u get it what i mean...)

is there any solutions for this problem?

    Btw: my SR is 1920 x 1080..

There is no NT JCV version working with SP, you must use NTU map and JCV for nuvi 40/50 etc series.
    Read OP:
    4. If you want JCV showing, you must use picture size 212*234 version split screen for 40/50 etc series.
For CNE only NTU version provides it.
    Nuvi40/50 JCV
D3589140A.JCV 1 RAR archive, unpacked size 152.363.690 bytes

bgpepi, I think I got you now.

If some version in post #1 works for you in both "portrait" and "landscape," then you DO NOT need any special version for 5.0 only.

For Satellite loss after two hours, I suggest you test with [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] If no loss, then try to run both GPS Test and Streetpilot at the same time. Also check Power save mode of device if it turns GPS off. Good luck.

    Hi folks,
I have been able to install this version of Street Pilot on the stock rom Lollipop 5.0 LG G3 to the internal memory, this version also works correctly in landscape mode. However, to install on the external SD required a little more work, the apk for /storage/external_SD/Garmin/ does not work, Instead I needed to use [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] and change the path to:

    /storage/external_SD/Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/files/Garmin

once the apk is installed, open and it will create the necessary file structure in the external_SD. Close StreetPilot and copy
(need to use the stock filemanager or Solid Explorer) the contents of the Garmin folder to:
    /storage/external_SD/Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/files/Garmin/
and StreetPilot should now work from your external SD.
I hope this is clear and can help others who are struggling.
