The original not patched app from post 2 works, if you have Lucky Patcher and Google Play Mod.
EDIT: It all depends where one lives, but I'll go rather for the new HERE Maps app. Much better and free!!

I'm in an area where garmin is not supported ... I can not buy Viago, no maps to download once and install patched I have to put another map of a private project ... the fact is I can not do that calculates me a route ... it says I need Maps to Go for it ...

with the previous version but that did not happen with this ... if not see a big change between this version and the 1697 but I always want the latest update ... any recommendation to avoid the problem but I'm detailing?

As I said in post #11, the apk posted in post #2 works, you just need to have Google Play Modded and Lucky Patcher installed. You need to "Remove License Verification" with Lucky Patcher after install ViaGo.
I suppose you use the maps of Mapear Project, if so, make sure you put the maps (img) into the right folder: storage/Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.viago/files/Garmin/
ViaGo thinks you are in North America, for that reason you get that message. You need to have GPS signal before you calculate your route.
    Greetings!

Something similar happened to me using versip 1678. It had been working fine and one day it stopped routing, asking for "Maps to Go".

I uninstalled the app and reinstalled it again and everything works fine. Remember to edit the country_codes_generated.gar file to include your local map img and country.

    Good luck!
