help Garmin on Nexus 7 (2013) with 5.0 Lollypop

    Hello.

Could you please help with fixing Garmin on Nexus 7 (2013) with 5.0 Lollypop? Every 2.33 version works, but only in portrait mode. In landscape, the screen becomes flipped, however touch controls remain in correct position, so program becomes unusable. No "Screen rotation lock" apps help. I'm writing this here, because your HUD mode works - it does prevent the screen from being flipped, however it is still mirrored and touch controls are swapped left-to-right (not top-bottom).

    Thank you for your time,
    with respect - Draco.

We can try inverting a different way, but I don't understand which way. Maybe a picture could help.

    Hello!

Thank you for the answer. I've uploaded video of what happens with Garmin on Nexus 7 (2013) 5.0:

This is standard StreetPilot 2.33, not your HUD mod - in your mod the screen does not "flip" but becomes "mirrored" with unreadable text, and controls swap left-to-right, so, for example, the "settings" button is in the lower right corner (where it should be), but touch control is in the lower LEFT corner.

It should be noted, that Lollipop is ART-only, and on 4.4 with ART no version of Garmin used to work at all.

Thank you, with respect - Draco.

Thanks for the video. Now the problem is clear. It seems it's rotating the wrong direction. I will try to find if there is a way to fix this weirdness and let you know.

Also, what version of Android you are using now?

Or how did you get it to work in ART?

    flagmax, Hi!

I'm using the latest available Lollipop image - LPX13D. As for the ART, I didn't do anything - StreetPilot works fine in 5.0, although it doesn't in 4.4 ART. It seems, with Lollypop Google has done a great job in fixing incompatibility of ART with legacy apps.

It seems it's rotating the wrong direction.
No, only the screen IMAGE rotates incorrectly - touch controls remain in correct places.

    Thank you once again,
    WBR - Draco.

I've tried to troubleshoot but have not found why its acting this way. I don't have enough experience to know for sure whats going on. I do know its OS/opengl related. There is glRotatef command to rotate things but I haven't had time to try call it to see if it will do what we want. So no definite answer yet.
