After some investigation why it crashes on S3 4.3 non root whilr searching for poi because of CN Thailand Dual 2014.10. If I change the map to CN Thailand 2014 (Thai) it doesnt crash.. any suggestion? Using ORAKs sdcard0.

Still cant solve the gps signal icon too

The img file is working fine on my S60 GMXT but not on this Android.

Based on ES Explorer on my phone, I have my data here:
    Device\storage\emulated\0\Garmin

    My phone is non-rooted.

Could the crashing be related to cgpsmapper maps? ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ])

    UPDATE:
I tried to copy a philippine NT map in it. Indeed, all categories can list the POIs. I can also type more than 4 characters now. But still, I cannot use the backspace key on my default android google keyboard.
Perhaps cgpsmapper map is not compatible with android garmin, but compatible with s60 garmin. Sigh.

Does anyone know how to convert cgpsmapper map to NT map?

I got the problems too. Try other apks version from [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] they work on both Andriod 4.2.2 and 4.3.

    Have you tried it yourself?
The one in the link says "/storage/sdcard0/Garmin/ ". But mine is not sdcard0.

Thanks a lot, but this APK doesn't fix the problem too. I guess the Malfreemaps
    Code:
Please Login or Register to see the links
(created from cgpsmapper) just doesn't work on newer garmin devices. While generating the img, I've clicked "exclude polygon" as some has mentioned that this fix the missing road on garmin nuvi 3790 set with updated firmware, but still to no avail.

Someone from malfreemaps forum even sold his 42LM and get an older nuvi just because of this problem (POI category problem).

Excellent!!!.... Running flawlessly on Samsung Galaxy Note 3 Jelly Bean 4.3 Official Non Rooted.
You can name your maps anything you like in folder .../Garmin/Map in your memory card where you copied the Garmin folder and the Map folder to be made manually (i.e: I use the extSdCard).

    Thank you all so much.

Please install astro file manager and see what name you will have for internal and external SD.

    From astro manager show
    Internal: storage/emulated/0/Android/data/
    External: storage/sdcard0/Android/data/

    Thank you
