    ็You have to install Thai keyboard app from playstore then you can type Thai upper and under vowel.

    Try Keyboard Man Man in playstore.

    Thanks a lot, kan. My area (malfreemap for Malaysia) is now visible with poi on the map, but still buggy. The map works fine on my Symbian60 GMXT.

    When I try to search for poi, I get zero results. all the categories result nothing. I can only manage to enter 3 to 4 characters when searching. Once it reach 4 character, the keyboard entry doesn't work anymore. I have to click "X" at the right to clear the entry because backspace (and all other keys) doesn't work. When I look for cities, I can see the results (city nearby) but upon selection, after calculating for route, the app will crash. By the way, my phone is non-rooted.Using sosaw's apk as posted by OP kan.

    Why no POI?

    Here is the GarminOS.log file, which I believe is generated when it crash after calculating.
    E[2014/07/20 09:16:14] (GGL:TextureType) {0x61fe8ec0} [GGL_TextureType.cpp:bool GGL::TextureType::Implementation::setupTexture(const GGL_bmp_type&):753] Texture memory allocation failure!
    E[2014/07/20 09:16:14] (GGL:TextureType) {0x61fe8ec0} [GGL_TextureType.cpp:bool GGL::TextureType::Implementation::setupTexture(const GGL_bmp_type&):754] GL error: 0x0502
    ....and lots of the similar entry
    EDIT:
    This is related to cgpsmapper malfreemaps. It works ok on Garmin NT map (tested with Phillipines NT map). I guess cgpsmapper maps are not supported.

    Thumbs up

    @ORAK: Excellent guide (post #10), SGS3 on 4.3 stock non rooted, confirmed working! Only animation seems sluggish, maybe hardware renderer isn't enabled. But still you have made it possible to use the best offroad maps for Android users! Cheers!

    ORAK or kan2543, can help me with this issue at [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] ? No POI results in any categories and crash after calculating.
    The img file is working fine on my S60 GMXT but not on this Android.

    Based on ES Explorer on my phone, I have my data here:
    Device\storage\emulated\0\Garmin

    My phone is non-rooted.

    Could the crashing be related to cgpsmapper maps? ([Only registered and activated users can see links. ])

    UPDATE:
    I tried to copy a philippine NT map in it. Indeed, all categories can list the POIs. I can also type more than 4 characters now. But still, I cannot use the backspace key on my default android google keyboard.
    Perhaps cgpsmapper map is not compatible with android garmin, but compatible with s60 garmin. Sigh.

    Does anyone know how to convert cgpsmapper map to NT map?
