    Hello,
gmapbmap.img ( 48.64 MB ) is in the .System folder. Must the apk be in the Garmin folder? I have it in the root ( Card ). The map img is in the new Map folder. Map is re-named. I don't understand what you mean by "enabled in settings". I've tried a few apks with no success. I believe the application is installing properly, as I can open it and see all the settings, but the problem is with the map. I can only see an arrow with a question mark on top.
I've noticed that in the computer when I go into the card/storage/extSdCard/Android/data/com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext/files/Garmin/ I cannot see the .System folder and yet I can see it in the tablet. Is this normal?
Again I thank you for all your help.

    Regards.

    Ted

Yes it is normal .System folder is a hidden system folder.
Go to My files/storage/....../Garmin folder Touch button bottom left then Settings and check Show hidden files.
Or you can use the application Root Explorer.

Yes, the Map folder is in ....../Garmin/ and the img. renamed, inside the Map folder and I still cannot see the map. I'm going to try and use a different map and see whether this gives any results. I'll come back as soon as I do the trial. It could be the map.

    Regards

I've tried with a different map and the result is the same, can't see the map. I've also tried with different apks and nothing. I'm lost! My tablet is rooted, does it make any difference? I haven't mentioned this fact before.

    Regards
