Garmin Connect Mobile allows you to view all of your activities stored at Garmin Connect from your smartphone — anytime, anywhere. When used with your compatible Edge or Forerunner, you can share your activities as they happen, wirelessly upload rides or runs to Garmin Connect and more.
Let Your Fans Follow
With the live tracking feature, your friends and family can follow your races and training activities in real time. Invite followers using email or social media so they can view your live data on a Garmin Connect tracking page. Once they get your email invite, they can follow your position on a map¹, as well as track time elapsed, distance, speed and elevation in real time. If you’re using ANT+ accessories, like a speed/cadence sensor or heart rate monitor, they can view that data as well.
Garmin Connect Mobile allows you to wirelessly upload your completed activities from compatible Edge and Forerunner devices so you can instantly save, plan and share every aspect of your ride or run. Once your activities post to Garmin Connect, your connections can view, “like” and comment on them. You can also easily share your completed activities on your social media networks via Garmin Connect Mobile.
The app also lets you search workouts you’ve created at Garmin Connect and send them directly to your compatible Edge or Forerunner. Edge users can do the same with courses — transferring courses from Garmin Connect to a compatible Edge device. They also can get real-time weather conditions, forecasts and alerts directly on their compatible Edge device. Forerunner 620 users can view charts detailing their running dynamics data from activities completed with the HRM-Run monitor. These charts show cadence, ground contact time and vertical oscillation data, similar to the full charts shown at Garmin Connect
