I suggest also to read post n1 before asking for questions, volume problem is well known and indicated in starting post.
I think it's useless to repeat and repeat these things over and over again. Thread becomes long and probably annoying for people looking for infos.
Additionally don't post unhidden links copying from starting post, to avoid files deletions on hosts. I'll delete the post next time.
    Thanks

Again..........you do not have to be rooted to run SP.

    internal sd card use /storage/sdcard0/Garmin
    external sd card use /storage/extSdCard/Garmin

Both are included on post 469. Both will install libgarminos and libgmxt, trust me. You are either looking in the wrong place or can't look because of your unrooted status. Make sure you also copy the Garmin folder downloaded in post 469 and you will also have to find the map for your region and replace it overwriting gmapprom.img in the .system folder.

I borrowed a Tab2 to install street pilot as your instructions.
After copying over the files to extSD, the whole install process went smoothly within 1 min and I am able to run and see myself on map. That confirms the tab3 is the culprit.....

Your instructions here is the best no-frills way to set up for unroot devices. Thank you so much

I will work on the tab3 later to see if I really need to root it.

Confirmed working and running S.P ok on ...
Huawei P1 with 4.1.2 Cyanogenmod 10 (Ext Sd System folder) libgarminos = external_sd.zip
Huawei G510 with 4.1.2 Cyanogenmod 10 (Ext Sd System folder) libgarminos = external_sd.zip
Huawei G526 with Stock 4.1.2 Emotion UI (Ext Sd System folder) libgarminos -sdcard1.so needs to be replaced every reboot.

The G510 is the only phone out of the 3 Huawei Ive tried that plays POI Speed camera alerts and keeps the volume high after reboot.

    Cheers

added link to your post in starting post . Thanks

Are you positive that the Tab3 runs 4.1.2 because I was under the impression that it was running 4.2.2 from the factory?

Separate libgarminos file should not be needed on S3 as StreetPilot 2.22_extSdCard_noroot_add_th.apk already inludes libgarminos file which is set up for extSdCard.

There are 2 models for the Samsung galaxy tab 7" from the brochure I got yesterday.

The LTE model is running 4.2.2 and the WIFI mdel is running 4.1.2, This is confirmed by user zhrd at post 496

Another thing I found is LTE model is using Intel processor but WIFI is using Samsung processor, this could be crucial

as I read from sosaw forum that not all processors work even it is 4.1.x

As regard to vold.fstab , extSdCard is listed fyi

Thanks for your help so far

Sorry, was hoping it could be that simple. Seems like you are truly aware of your situation then.

I dont really understand lots of simple things, like what caused the notifications for "click to continue", or even though I got it working on tab2, but still not able to see the 2 files. Real noob here.
So just guessing since it's a new processor...
