Where you download Garmin folder, from what link?
Please try this:
- install navigon or sygic or iGO
- run it and let us know if this will find satellite on your device.
If also with this app you will not get satellite lock, then something is wrong with your GPS.
I hope you test satellite outside garage on clear sky.
It is running with IGO , SYGIC AND Route 66
only problem with Garmin , it will not find GPS signal even if i drive two hours even also when i connect with entranet by WIFI
I do not remmember from which link i down load garmin folder , if you please have suitable link for garmin 1.49 , please inform me then i will try

Yes i have local.xml and i choose my country and garmin indicate correct time
Yes i have gmapbmap.img 48.6 MB
Problem of local happens with Garmin streetpilot 2.10
But with garmin streetpilot 1.49 no problem with local , and it works fine except gps signal
Do you have installed maps for your country and you can see it under settings of street pilot and map is enabled?
After you change locales.xml that i post above, still no GPS signal?
