    Catymag,

the pointed software is nice, but it still doesn't solve the problem of NO ROUTES/TRIPS in the StreetPilot.

    I have read this post
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

and at later posts also Garmin Support says that for Nuvi 350 the routes (gpx) can be imported into ST/Trip Planner
    but NOT vice versa.
If this would work on my SG3 SP, this would be enough for me. However it doesn't !

Nuvi 350 is for sure different in some ways then Android software, but it seams that there is some bug
in SP v214 or libgarminos.so additional changes should be made ?!?! Or some special file name formating in GPX
folder should be made (like route.gpx or user data.gpx) ?!?!

Also, the trip plans made on SP are saved under \.system\trips\xxxx.trip
So there must (or should) be on the internet some software for "gpx" to "trip" conversion !!?!?!

Despite your clear answer and fact that route importing in SP does not work, it can't be logical that such
top end software does not have possibility to import such crucial info!
In fact, then there are probably NON navigation software for Android that could do that
(and if do, we are all looking here for Garmin solution as best software on the market).

    Regards.

    Just another thought:

    - i'm using maps 2013.30. Could it be that for those maps the route importing is ignored in SP ?!

    @banelinde

As a rule, BaseCamp sends a planned route to the device directory: ..\GPX\, into Temp.gpx file.
After start your device the Temp.gpx is read and a new file (*.trip) will be created automatically in ..\.System\Trips\...

Then you can find this route in the "Trip Planner" app of your device:

Yes, I know and this is what I have already tried. But it won't work.
Import of waypoint is ok, but NO routes.

Just to mention, BaseCamp for me creates three different files, route.gpx waypoints.gpx and track.gpx.
I have also manually renamed route.gpx to temp.gpx, but it's again NO GO

    Agrrrrhhhh !

Please let me know, what phone, OS and what gamrmin maps you have. Just to compare ?!?!
Are there any additional changes in libragminos.so necessary ?!

    Regards.

Don't expect that all functions like on pna garmin devices, will work on Garmin Android, specially on Android phones which aren't natively supported by Garmin Android, cause Garmin Android is made for Garmin-Asus phones - HK, Taiwan, and not for your SG, LG or HTC, this is just ported version from Garmin-Asus Pad2fones, so without 10x !!!!, everbody here see even one !, and without 10x ? !

And connection with BaceCamp will not work like for Garmin-Asus phones, on other Android smartphones like SG, LG, HTC, etc. , simple you can forget on some functions on this ported Garmin Android version, like was for Garmin Win CE, which was ported from Garmin WM, cause Garmin never developed Garmin Win CE version, for now is similary, Garmin never developed Garmin And version for all And OSs, or all android smartphones, like NNG, Navigon, etc. did. So, for now, you can only wait on Garmin And version for all And OSs and And sps.

You can try to create a virtual device on sd by creating Garmin directory containing GarminDevice.xlm, plug it to pc, send your trips to sd and then copy to phone. Not sure they will works on phone, but try and give feedback.

Perhaps someone can give me a hint. I have a phone with JB 4.1.1 960x540 and a MT6577 CPU. With 2.01 I get a forced close (I think thats expected), with 2.14 it opens and has the logo + "system loading" but only black screen and then goes to homescreen. In the statusbar the blue triangle stays and it has a message "Streetpilot is running" - click to continue. But when I click it changes to the black screen for 2 seconds and then leaves again.

Anything I can do, or is it perhaps my chipset that doesn't support it?

    Thanks
