I downloaded the file "sound ok libgarminos.rar", and copied "libgarminos.so" to /data/data/com.garmin.etcetc (backed up original first).
    The file libmedix.so, I tried to copy to /data/com.garmin-etcetc, /system/lib and extsd/Garmin...
    Copied libgmxt.so to /system/lib/ ...

When I launched SP, the resolution was giant and I couldn't click the buttons, so I don't know if it worked or not. Still no positive results, but I'll keep trying.

About sound problem on SGS3 and similary, do like is explained bellow, find libmedia.so from some phone with working sound, or ask somebody to upload for you,

download sound libmedia.so file, and rename it to libmedix.so, copy it to system\lib\ , and set permissions rw-r-r-

After this above, change libgarminos.so, at string libmedia.so in to libmedix.so with HEX editor, then with RE manager or ES, andexp, and similary file browse to \data\data\com.garmin.android.apps.gmobilext\lib\ and copy-paste new modified libgarminos.so.

if you use ext card, then use this path bellow,

    mnt/extSdCard/Garmin/

    that's all, once and forever.

Hi Black Wolf and everybody else,

the SP 2.14 on my SG3 with JB 4.1.1. works very well and precise, however there are three minor issues:

    1) GPX importing and exporting works only for waypoints (in SP called saved places) , but NOT for routes (in SP called TRIP PLANNER).
This is for me very important as I plan my motorbike trips on the MapSource and then would like to copy them to the StreetPilot

    2) I can hear the sound and voices, but on each program start I need to define volume level, let's say at 100%,
wheres the volume slider is constantly jumping up and down, showing strange values from 0 till 255%

    3) The GPS reception is excellent, however the GPS icon is always showing one bar

Can you help me resolve this issues, especially the first one !!?!

    Regards.

    Catymag,

thanks for answering, but your hyperlink shows a Thread where other people say that routes CAN be imported to Nuvi (for me it would be StreetPilot on SG3) and you say it can't be imported at all ?!

So, this is contradictory information !?
Please try to give me some more details.

For your info, I would also use third party software to create routes like ITN Converter (e.g. to create current.gpx file), so it must not be always MapSource!

Other Threads discuss the bugy way of routing and not the ability of importing routes from PC

    In anticipation for your reply.

    Regards.

You can import TRIPS not ROUTES.

    Catymag,

thank you once more very much for the answers.

However it still does not show how to use the possibility of converting tracks to routes inside StreetPilot, nor how to create on PC in any program any form of route or path and then use it in StreetPilot.

    Any additional ideas ?!

    Regards.
