    Hello,
    Start reading thoroughly THIS FORUM.
It has everything you need. From here I downloaded everything. Plus I used Chrome to read the Chinese forum on Sosaw. Chrome has relatively good auto-translation.
Initially, I tried 2.14 on JB 4.1.2 but did not work.
Then, I downgraded to 4.1.1, Omega V6.1 - ZSALJA with integrated kernel.
It still features minor glitches like battery icon showing a discharged battery but works like a charm. Please read carefully the forum, especially the first posts, where everything is. Then get the libgarminos.os for 1280x720. For me it worked from the first try. Both internal GPS and external bluetooth gps work (external is more precise, using bluetoothgps.apk).
If moderator allows and you will not be able to choose the appropriate files to make them work, I could upload the whole package somewhere. Cheers.

Sure, you can upload your package, tested on your device, that other members can benefit from your package , that's moreover desirable

OK, but I am not good with LARGE (many GB) file sharing on the net. I have a good upload speed, please recommend a good file sharing site where I could upload the package, including maps that I am using (approx 5GB). Garmin CNE 2013.40. Cheers.

You can upload on 1fichier, but your CNE is already old. New map is .41.
Better to upload it without gmapprom and let users to download the newer from forum. You can post your files structure screen so users can see where to put it.

Don't upload maps, only installation without maps, 3d files, jcv files, etc. , only basic installation, maps and additional files members can download here and add later... For uploading your installation, you can use free file hosting services like,

    zippyshare.com

    sharebyte.com

    sendspace.com

    uploaded.net

    etc etc.

    So...
    1. Root your Galaxy Note 2 n7100
    2. Install apk. Do not run it yet.
    3. Copy the Garmin folder to the external SD card
    4. Put the libgaminos and libgmxt files to their appropiate places (see the word doc).
    5. Change the permissions for both files to rw--r--r--
    6. Populate your external sd card subforlders of Garmin folder with your desired maps, 3d, jcv, poi, asr. I used maps generated from Mapsource. (gmapsupp.img) which I renamed (to be able to store many maps) to 1,2,3,... etc.img.
    7. Search google for "streetpilot change language chinese english" (i did not save it, maybe was right here on noeman) for a guide to change language from Chinese to English. (it's simple but NOT intuitive).
    8. Enjoy

Actually, friends of mine tried the same package on several other 1280x720 smartphones and worked. It's a resolution issue, like Black Wolf said... Downgrade to android 4.0.x for 800x480 device, or if you need Garmin on JB, downgrade to JB 4.1.1 but on 4.1.1 device with (resolution higher than) 960x540+ ... (such as 1280x720). Voila. Sorry but I know neither android nor Motorola... just tried what other smarter guys did and worked for me too... Cheers.
