    Jelly? what? I could put dual boot in my phone if I wanted to, but I would have to spend time gathering information on how to do it, the risks and stuff. People here just wanna install a GPS program on their phones and do it the easiest way possible, and that's it. It's like if you just wanted to repair a door of your house, but instead you just destroy the whole thing with a demolition and then make a new house with a working door; no sense.

    I think this quote is an appropriate response:

    I didn't do what I did because it was easy....I did it because I wanted Garmin running on the fastest and latest version of Android possible on my GS3 (the difference in speed between 4.0.4 and 4.1.1 is quite noticeable) AND because if you read around there are thoughts that the Chinese APK is infected with Android.ZitMo so by having it in a separate isolated OS I don't risk contaminating my main everyday phone OS with a trojan.

    I have it running (somewhat) on an Amaze 4g, custom rom Energy Stock August 1,2012. I have no voice options, nor am I able to see any maps. If someone could please direct me as to how to edit/place the maps in the proper location. It would be greatly appreciated.

    the maps should be named "gmapprom.img". You should put the maps in the folder: "/sdcard/external_sd/Garmin". Download a hex editor, like HxD (google it, it's a free one) and open the libgarminos.so file (the one that works for you). Go to the offset 0x1dbbb54 and change whatever it is there to "/sdcard/external_sd/Garmin". You edit the letters at the right, and while you do that, it modifies the numbers at the left. There should be 000 000 000 between each character that you modify. Then save it and see if it works.

    This should be more clear with the image of the first page of the post.

    got it working, looks great on my amaze.
