Files everywhere are leeched from sosaw ,that's the source coz the first one who posted it and who žs working at it and posting files is wodoo.
At the end if he will figure it out ,we'll have, we hope, a lazy package , like they call it, easy to install

Hey Nutpants if you go to 'where to' the 'address' is missing, so scroll down to bottom right to 'add shortcut', then scroll to bottom and tap on address. The 'address function makes finding places so much easier.

Also on main page tap the top left bar and the satellite page will show up. Next to that tap the small car and you will get 'Automobile' or 'Pedestrian' mode for navigating.

my screen is about 5mm too high and about 5mm to the left also..
so i miss at least half of what is on the top.
it is most noticeable on the map.. and quite visible on the screen shots i posted.
( the screen shots are what my phone looks like exactly.. )

its just the screen image as the place i have to touch to click a button is also a few mm lower than the button image

the rest is not all that important..
at least not at the moment.

lower image templates would also be nice...

    Bing translation:
1, download the Garmin.rar lazy package, unpacked in the Garmin folder to SDCard/, click on the StreetPilot.apk file in the sdcard/Garmin folder to install, do not run after the installation is complete.

2, copy the libgarminos.so file in the sdcard/Garmin folder to the/data/data/com.Garmin.Android.apps.gmobilext/lib/below. Copy the folder libgmxt.so to sdcard/Garmin under/system/lib/.

Well, no phone reboot, click directly on the phone menu navigation icon to run it.

I can report that the "Lenovo K860, resolution 1280 ◊ 720" version posted above does not work on my acer A200 tablet 1280x720 ISC v4.0.3 and behaves exactly the same as the others listed.

The stumbling block is obviously libgarminos.so.
I have tried and edited perhaps 15 versions now. Set to /sdcard, /external_sd (my default microSD card) and even /mnt/external_sd with the Garmin folder suitably placed.

They ALL startup OK with the Garmin logo and "initializing" then go to a blank screen with the software running. The GPS starts and the Garmin triangle sits in the tray.

Oh well I guess I will have to wait for more magic. )-:
