I tried it and had no luck I did all that (the same as before plus renaming my libmedia.so from ICS to libmedix.so for JB) and I start Streetpilot and get a black screen followed by "streetpilot crashed".

Is there anyone here who managed to get this running on Jellybean?

This is my libmedia.so from Galaxy S3 ICS 4.0.4; in theory you should rename it to libmedix.so and put it on system/lib then add the read and write permissions and it should work. It didn't work for me [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

libmedix.so create using libmedia.so from your own ICS 4.0.4 ROM, renaming libmedia.so in libmedix.so

    tnx to wkj525 for solution!

And then do these 2 things..

    1. copy Libgmxt.so and libmedix.so from archive to /system/lib/ with modified permissions 0644

    2. copy Libgarminos.so to /data/data/com.Garmin.Android.apps.gmobilext/lib

Succesfully installed on my Galaxy S running unofficial CM 10.1 Android 4.2.1 !!!!!

    Three major problems
1- Unable to find GPS signal
2- Everytime I start the application my previous settings are gone and
3- After reboot I have to start again with the Lib files

    No:1 is a Major problem
    Any solution or suggestion?

I was thinking... if someone here is good at hex editing, maybe he/she can compare my libmedia.so I uploaded with the libmedix.so that BlackWolf provided to see which are the differences and maybe modify the libmedia.so so that it can work (because at least the libmedix.so did work (kinda) for some people like mermigas)

What do you mean with "start again with the Lib files" ?

After rebooting I have to copy with Root explorer the necessary lib files in the perspective folders in order to run the application.
    Otherwise I am getting FC

It remembers me when Garmin Mobile XT on Symbian was locked and we had to add the sw.unl or no gps signal.
What about maps, can you see them ? I've read there are difficulties in unlocking them .
