You have to navigate to get to the good.

Ok, addition to the POI problem:
It seems the situation is even worse!!
When i change active map in Settings/Map&Vehicle/myMaps, it carries the already showed POIs to the newly selected map! It does not refresh!

And every time i start StreetPilot, i can't see ANY POI! It means i must do a route EVERY time i start StreetPilot, in order to see the POIs!

And the worst, it seems StreetPilot can not use older version maps correctly, the Application restarts itself many times!! (it might be a crash in the background)
It did that when i've chosen a POI on a custom made map (turistautak.hu), and it did when simulating a route on an OFFICIAL Garmin map, named NaviGuide Hungary.

And when simulating a route, sometimes (not always, but very often) it drives "as a crazy man", i mean it drives forward some meters, then drives backward some meters, and this repeats! And it never arrives to the destination!

    sure
It shows only the "main" POIs, like restaurants, ATMs, Gas-stations.
But does not show other type POIs, like Bus stations and Tram stops, Farms, Street-phones, Geocaching points, Auto-Services and many else!
like on new nuvis: in navigation you get just those icons.

While you cannot customize which POIs to display on the 3D moving map, itís a different story when you go into browse map mode. There you can drill down through many categories, as you can see below.

One other thing. Iím beginning to notice that POI display may vary on the moving map, depending upon time of day. At lunch time you might see more restaurants. Driving late at night? Hotels seem to show up more.

    Oh myyy god.
Why do Garmin regresses? They look like total dumb with these "improvements".
Let me decide when i want to see which POI...
Why does not exist an option if i want to see ALL of them, ALL-time?

Yeah, i've noticed this, as i've written about it in one of my previous post.
The problem with this, is want to see not just category, i want to see ALL. And not as a little blue sphere, i want to see them with their original icon!
And i want to see ALL-time, i want to see if i just start the application, and go with it, WITHOUT an actual route planned.

How is that possible, that the Garmin-developers can't see this ELEMENTARY function? (actually they did when they developed Garmin Mobile XT 5.0, why don't they now?)

    EDIT:
Garmin first introduced that exclusive license thing, and they avoided the Android platform. Now they regress/de-develop their products...
The leaders of this company are complete idiots... Brrr...

Why every Topographic map-maker makes his/her/their maps to Garmin??

For all your complains , contact Garmin and write them, what you wrote here , cause posting here questions why Garmin didn't implement something will not help you to get answer!

It's not now, there are entire threads on Garmin forums about this matter lol
Users complained a lot, but nothing changed. In 37xx series (US) map POIs are completely not visible in navigation.

Looking at pictures in previous posts in this thread I think in this Android Garmin Software POIs behave like in 34xx.

Then the Garmin-leaders are indeed complete idiots...

Some bigger company should really eat this company, and should replace it's leaders/management..
