Yes, version 2.0.1 [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Click on Where to, scroll down, click Add Shortcut, on end is Adress... Then you can use in Where to option Adress where you can normally search by address...

Does the StreetPilot 1.49 support an enhanced pedestrian mode (EPM) when used with cityXplorer maps?

It looks [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] that Streetpilot doesn't not support EPM, although is compatible with cityXplorer maps.

I can't seem to get into Pedestrian Mode on 1.49 easily.

On my actual Nuvi PNA, I can press on the map screen Menu button and select "Walking Mode" or change it in the Settings/Navigation/Optimize Route menu and select Pedestrian.

But on 1.49 I can't find the setting anywhere? There is a setting in Settings/Maps&Vehicles that says Pedestrian Map View, but no actual way to select the Pedestrian Mode.

The only way I can get to Pedestrian mode is to:

    1. Set a Route
    2. Go to Main Menu
    3. Press Apps
    4. Press Unsaved Trip
    5. Press the Car icon and change Transportation Mode to Walk.

    Anyone found an easier way?

It is not a fact. For example, StreetPilot 2.16 supports EPM, see the end of the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Try to press and hold the car icon next to the GPS signal indicator, see in the middle of the [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

Good to know about EPM, but for some reason I couldn't get 2.16 to work on my Exynos T7S tablet (running 4.04), and only got 1.49 working. I take it EPM doesn't work with 1.49?

Thanks! I must have missed that bit when I was reading through the 2.16 post.

I have been testing it out in the car, and it has some random crashes, sometimes during Calculating Route, but a few times when I was changing the Transportation Mode. Still, 1.49 seems to be working well for me.

Is there anyway to access the "Manage My Data" menu like in older Garmin UI, so you can see your recorded tracks, and custom POIs? I'm trying to get POIs to work now.

I don't have SP 1.49 to test the EPM, so I asked my question above ...

Are you using a map made with cGPSmapper ? If yes no solution . Read:
[Only registered and activated users can see links. ]
Members using Mapear, Navigasi and other cGPSMapper maps report the same in different threads here on Noeman.

No, not using cGPSmapper, but thanks for the link. At the moment, I'm using an older original routeable Topo map that I unlocked myself. Was using it on my handheld hiking GPS before, and it works on my Garmin PND. Also tried the Malsingmaps and some offline routes, and sometimes get crashed app. But the crashes seem random, and doesn't happen all the time.

I'm a longtime Garmin user (have a few handheld GPSr, a few older auto Garmins, and also used Mobile XT on Symbian and WM). This is just my first go on Android on a cheap tablet, so I'm not sure if the crashes are device based, or the app.

My tablet has Exynos4412 Quad Core Cortex A9 1.5Ghz, and 2Gb RAM, and when Streetpilot crashes, sometimes I kill all apps to clear the memory and run it again.

I mean that map (older original routeable Topo) may be it's made (compiled) with cGPSMapper.
SP works fine with new Garmin CityNavigators , crashes in calculating and recalculating routes are normal with these maps.
