    @ DuRoi

Your request (legitimate) had his answer. Personally, I think it will be difficult to see a apk for that resolution
I invite you to not repeat other requirements of this
In the case will be deleted without notice

    Thank you for understanding

tested on JB 4.1.2. the whole interface is working. it just could not search satellite. i have to try to simulate route though but there are just so many things to flash over. however, it is working perfectly on JB 4.1.1. satellite fix is quick as well. right now still working on it. jcv is tested working also. :-)

update after the simulation test on JB 4.1.2.

couldn't simulate a route. it crashes all the time. i think it has something to do with the satellite fix also.. but anyway i am happy now that it is working very well in JB 4.1.1. in fact, it is better than the one installed on my sgs3. the display is more balance and proportional on the screen compared to the display shown on sgs3. alright guys. this is something to grab and try now. it is proven and tested already on simulation. i still have to try to get it on the road though and see how it behaves on actual test. i will have to see if i can have the time.

another update after a brief play around.

the system won't accept poi. no matter where i put the poi folder, it just won't put on the gps. although it says that the importation is successful or something but when i look at my saved places, it isn't there. another flaw is, you have whenever you start the street pilot, the volume goes to the lowest. for those who will try this, kindly check so i can compare with mine. you have to remember to increase the volume everytime the SP is started, otherwise, you might think there is no voice. but i have tried it many times and it just goes that way. but i can live with that. it is more responsive compared to the one i have installed in my sgs2. i am really impressed. except for the volume thing and the poi, everything is good. at least to this point. good night.

    @ jackmawatan

For some Garmin devices folder POI is case sensitive (with capital letters) and normally goes to Garmin folder.
Also, did you try to save a point as your favorite instead of importing pre-saved (exported ones) from other device?
What happen when you put whatever.gpi to POI folder directly?

Just for your tests, i added Spain radar poi, see if you can see it in POI section in StreetPilot after put it in Garmin\POI folder.

If this works, grab yours whatever.gpx with "exported pois from other device", use POILoader to locate your .gpx and than "save it", you will have a Poi.gpi that you can rename to Favorite.gpi (or whatever) if you want and put in POI folder.

Note: This test POI works for almost Garmin devices, some can ear the voice version others can´t (ex. GarminMobilePC).

SGS2 JB4.1.2 (custom rom, called "Omega")
Installed apk, copied files, changed permissions, put map in /sdcard/Garmin/Map/
    The app crashes with:
    Unfortunately, StreetPilot has stopped.

    Anyone ?

Are you sure that for StreetPilot map (.img) goes to /sdcard/Garmin/Map/ ??

In GarminMobileXT and GarminMobilePC and allot of others Garmin devices .img goes to folder Garmin (for GMXT) or goes folder GarminMobilePC (for GMPC), also goes folder Garmin for many Nuvi ..

Should you try map (.img) in folder Garmin? Or you sure thats the correct path?

Are you sure your libs (for exemple libgarminos.so) are correctly edited to fit your screen resolution and sdcard path (internal or external)?

The map was installed by default in /sdcard/garmin (by map installer).
StreetPilot didn't work, I moved the map to /sdcard/garmin/map - same.
It goes with "Unfortunately, StreetPilot has stopped."

And, how can I be sure where to put the map? I just installed StreetPilot 2.14 and followed some of the posts here ....

Not sure if maps .img goes to Garmin in StreetPilot, but i can tell you that the "default" maps folder for almost garmin devices is Garmin. For example: Garmin\gmapsupp.img
If everything is correct may be the problem is that rom.
