I had the same problem as tebuan but setting .esn to 400 didn't make a difference. In my case, the problem was the mmc value in libgarminso. It is set to mmc1 but I had to change it to mmc2, then this problem goes away.

BUT, I have 2 different problems.

    1) Norton says the application is suspicious and contains malware?
    2) 2nd launch says it only runs on padfone

Haven't read about any possible solution for either of those yet.

It's dependent from phone to phone, not always same problem....

    1. - northon is trash... Northon many times notified to you that c.r.ack.ed app you used are potential malware, but you used them however, isn't!?

You and other people have to learn firstly what means virus, malware, and then many things will be more clear to you! Every cr.ack.ed app = modified app, different app than in original state, virus does same, modify app, so that's reason why most of AVs notifies cr.ack.ed app like a virus! When you learn this, you'll not ask anymore that type of questions! For sure that's good to check every app, but to believe blinldy to AV, no, AV is big industry which many believe blindly that will help them, even in most cases don't help, the best way to stay secure is to care by ourslefs! If 100s people downloaded .apk and used, no reason to believe trash like a northong av!

    2. You expect help, even you didn't write basic things like, brand phone, model, configuration, resol. , what memory is in using for Garmin, etc etc. !?

Don't understand how you could try maps, if you couldn't run Garmin SP!? You didn't read enough, search Garmin forum, and you'll find another one thread for Garmin SP Android, where you can find more info...

When you ask for something, provide more details! Presitigion 960x540 isn't only 1 model! When you ask for help, post configuration, OS version, etc.

For ICS 4.0.x, 960x540 devices , SP 2.01, tnx to headspring

I understand that it can be very frustrating when people just come on board and ask for help without properly reading, but I in fact wasn't actually asking for help at all (not yet, anyway ), nor do I "expect" it! I did not mean to come across as another one of those "please do this for me" type posts.

Anyway, my intent was merely to indicate the situation that I am trying to figure out but mainly to help the previous poster with fixing his map load issue. I am still reading and looking at the different things that can be happening.

Oh, thank you for this. I haven't had too much time to investigate why N.o.rt says it's malware just yet, I will look into it more.

PS I should clarify, Norton for ANDROID is complaining, not Norton for PC. G-data android did not report. I'm still trying to see exactly what it's complaining about.

I'd modify "StreetPilot_201_all_sdcard.apk" with 1280x720 and thai menu. It work with my hawei mediapad 7 and display right task bar position...

Sentences with ? on the end, usually are questions for help! Your question about runing only in padfon is same thing, and many times answered, in another thread for Android SP, so only what you need to do is reading with attention, continue reading, and you'll find answers....

Same trash, run another AV for Android, Avast, etc. , and you'll see, no virus. I expalined in previous post, you have to learn what's "virus", and you'll understand then why some of trash AV like Norton report "virus"!
