If you want marine charts on Android try Navionics, for example

The Navionics charts dont cover my local lake, Garmin covers it. Just can't get the CNNA 2009 working yet which I would use more often this time of year.

I no longer have CNNA 2009 on any PC but I do have US Topo 2008 and can confirm as working perfectly in OruxMaps.
Do not expect too many autorouting miracles. It can however "autoroute" (if the mapset permits) from point to point. i.e. You enter the town/suburb or manual end point.
    BlueCharts? - no luck yet.

Still no working CNNA 2009 but made progress with Fishing Hotspots though not all blocks I guess you can call them show up all the time. Some white blocks until zoomed in or out.

Dear Catymag, I downloaded OruxMaps5.0beta19.apk, but the sw doesn't read any .img file (naturally unlocked...The dimension of the .img I used was 99 Mb).
I downloaded from google play the last release 4.8.61, but no success again. Looking at google-maps or google-earth all is ok, excellent performance with both release..
Can you give me a suggestion.
Best regards and thanks a lof for your extraordinary work!!

OruxMaps and all other non Garmin apps can not read NT version .img files.
That excludes pretty much all current Garmin produced City Navigator mapsets etc.
OruxMaps can only read non NT standard files. These typically include older Garmin City Navigator, Topo mapsets and 3rd. party mapsets created with cGPSmapper, MapTk, Mapdekode, Mapwell etc.
Try loading your .img files into say GPSMapEdit. If they load without error and are viewable then usually they will work in OruxMaps.

I've tried Topo Lusitania and Ukraine Carte Blanche (screen above) and they work, just put the .img in the right folder following instructions in manual

Excellent, I inserted an OSM map (50MB.img) and it is running well;the one I was using came through Mapsource from an NT map; I use GPSMapEdit, so before installing a new one I'll try ...to verify
By the way do you know any sw able to decompile a NT file and to ribuild it into the old standard ??
    Thanks a lot again!!
