    My contribution

Putting extra maps on the iPhone.
    Option 1
Possible mapnames (example with bought Europe West Garmin app):
    In storage-western-eu\.System:
    -gmapbmap.img standard basemap
    -gmapprom.img standard/default map
-gmap3d.img buildings; can also be used for different maps
    -gmaptz.img info timezones

    -gmapprom1.img extra map
    -gmapoem.img extra map

    In sdcard\Garmin
    -gmapsupp.img extra map
    -gmap3d.img extra map

This way it is possible to add 5 (unlocked) maps to the default available map.

    Option 2
Put alle the extra maps in sdcard\Garmin\Map (create folder 'Map' if not existing). Map names are irrelevant as long the extension is .img
There seem to be a maximum on the number of files (10 maps work fine for me).
The advantage of putting extra maps in sdcard\Garmin\Map is when upgrading the app all extra maps are still there. When using mapnames like gmapsupp.img, thes can be overwritten by the update.

Option 1 and option 2 can be used together

    By adding:
to the 'TargetConfig.plist' file in 'garmin-nav.app' the maps get toggle switches.

    Some extra features:
By adding this code to the 'settings_general.plist' file in 'garmin-nav.app' , you get some extra feautures like GPS demo mode (to run a demo routing to the selected destination) and extra reset functions.
I just download the new Ifunbox 2.1 and I try to ad all the line in the 'settings_general.plist' but when i save nothing was save same thing with 'TargetConfig.plist' . I try with note pad , wordpad I need help plse

Luiz, the maparadar speed cameras won't show up as "Safety Cameras". That area is for the official Garmin Cyclops SpeedCam (they don't have cameras for Brazil, IIRC).

You should put your maparadar GPX file inside the POI folder. At least that's what I did on my nuvi. I still have to try adding the maparadar database to my iPhone.

    Abraço!

I was able to get them installed by creating a POI folder in "../garmin-nav.app/storage-usa" and puting the file in there. Make sure the owner and group of the file is mobile.

I cannot figure out how to get the alert shown on the map with an icon (like in a real garmin) or change the alert sound (by dfault it is a barely audible short beep). I wonder if it has anything to do with the settings_sound_display_camera_alerts.plist file.

If anyone knows how to change the alert sound or improve the default behavior, please let us know. The POI questions seem to keep coming up.
