    it's been a while now, but as I remember for the keyboard issue, you need to flip the cell to the sides, or to press menu... change to main menu then press and hold so it gets back to XT... it just solves the type issue. To scroll the map that was even impossible on my previous Nokia 5800.

    I know this App is a bit old but I had a Problem with Maps.
    If I made the Map with the Latest MapInstall (Not work, Roads Missing)
    Made the Map with Mapsource (All Good)
    Nokia 500 Belle (With the keyboard Bug (workaroundable))

    It is very strange - i did not see any difference between MapInstall and Mapsource with the exception of routing data...

    I have a problem, and i know it's common thing with Garmin on Symbian... when i browse map, Garmin freeze every time. Sometimes after 10 sec, sometimes after one minute. Is there solution for this problem? I had a few different Symbian phones and tried a few versions of GarminXT, but problem remains. Current phone Nokia N8.

    I guess you're running Anna or Belle. XT was initially developed for Symbian S60 and seems to run ok on S^3 but development stopped in 2009 a couple of years before Anna was even released so it probably won't matter which version you use unless you find one that someone has managed to tinker with it under the hood. You wouldn't want to return the N8 to S^3, so the best advice is probably to just use Nokia/Ovi mapping on the N8, at least it's free and relatively trouble-free.

    If you do have an early N8 still running S^3, and are using v5.00.60 then that's as good as it gets sorry.

    Version 6.00.20? It has to be either a fake like 6.00.10 or someone has actually gone under the hood trying to make it work properly with later Symbian OS's Anna and/or Belle.

    @chinnachot
    Do you know the history of this app? Also N8 can run S^3, Anna and Belle. GMXT Twn version 5.00.60 runs fine on S^3 in my experience but can be flakey on later OS with N8.

    @dasil
    How were you trying to install it? You maybe need to have a previous version installed.
