    I have this problems too. I have garmin (.60) install on C6-01 with belle and when I want to introduce the destination address the keyboard don't appear. N8 with bell had this problem too.
    It appear only if I exit the application with menu key (garmin keep running in background) and reenter from taskmanager (keep long press on menu key).

    I think u should reinstall this garmin and make sure there enough RAM space in your phone.
    Maybe you have a lot of background application processes. You can optimize your phone performance with "ram booster" or "system optimizer in NetQin Antivirus 5".

    It's runs good in my Nokia C7.

    I've replied to you here: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] . Let me know in detail about your experience with GMXT on Belle.

    @eukara
    He has Belle, see his other post via the link in my post above yours. I have only heard of problems with XT running on Anna/Belle and having to use workarounds as you described in your first post. Maybe it has to do with using Ram Booster or the other although i wouldn't have thought so. I don't have access to an Anna or Belle device. Would you be able to try his suggestions for optimization and report back?

    I don't have any problem. This GMXT running very well now in Nokia C7 belle.

    But, when I used this phone on Anna OS, sometimes I had keyboard problems and sometimes GMXT stop running.
    Then, to prevent the same problems like that, I use third party application: memory up pro.
    That app will kill every unnecessary processes. So, GMXT will runs better.
    or, you can change your cache memory to external, not in drive C.

    Anyway, belle is faster than anna, but there's some problems when playing video files.

    @eukata
    Is your belle is a modded or official edition? Mine is official edition. Sometimes modded OS drains more RAM depends on the installed application and background processes.

    @elbidercni
    Thanks for your replies here & elsewhere. Don't worry about the multiple post thing, happens a lot with new members. I know some forums don't seem to mind, but is a bit frowned on around here .

    We should continue this in this thread only, still slightly OT 'coz it's the 'extra languages' thread for XT, so hope we will be ok here. I have a good friend with an N8 running Anna who uninstalled xt because of problems, even when no other apps running. I suggested to him to move to Belle and try again but he's otherwise happy with Anna so hasn't yet. Seems a lot of reports in other forums of problems like eukata is having, and only workarounds suggested not fixes.

    I've been looking for some time to find someone running XT on Anna or Belle WITHOUT any problems, and you seem have managed that. Only ever heard of problems before your report. Did you have it going ok on belle before you used MemoryUp Pro, or before you changed your cache memory to external, as you also mentioned in the other thread? Or did you do both at same time? I'm thinking the cache path would make more difference as many problem reporters say they have no other apps running anyway.
    Maybe eukata will try your tips and report back the results.

    I used memory up pro since I have anna OS. But, in anna OS, there was sometimes I got keyboard problems on GMXT.
    here it is links to other concurrent forums is forbidden, read forum rules before posting

    Before opened GMXT, I had boosted up (optimizing) my RAM with memory up pro. I just said, you can change the cache path, but I'm not yet try to change the cache because I don't find any problem in this belle ^^ (Map detail:Most, map features: all ON with small - large label, GMXT version 5.00.60s6) .
    Without that app, GMXT often stop working in my phone. Twice I tried running GMXT without optimizing the memory first and GMXT stop working when browsing the map.

    Another way, my friend told me that I can use NetQin antivirus to optimize phone system like memory up pro,
    here it is >>>

    Netqin have extra feature such kind of system optimization and it's works like memory up pro. Maybe another antivirus have the same features.
    So, you can choose which application you need .
    Just dont install more than one antivirus or your phone will not working anymore.

    I think N8 is more better than mine (C7). My friends here have GMXT on their phone too. And some of them use X6 and 5800 without a problem. I'm sure GMXT will run well in N8 except there are too many application running in background.

    *) by the way, is that OK if I put down another forum's link here?

    Thank you so much for your detailed post, it's very much appreciated to finally engage some members like you and eukara on this problem. I've not been able to get much interest previously, i suppose because XT is getting a bit old now and interest has moved on.

    Sure, N8 is not a lesser spec device to C7. I really think the problems are coming from the xt soft not being fully compatible with Anna/Belle though. As you'd know, GMXT was designed to run on S60 platforms and it does seem to be fine on early release S^3 too. This is confirmed by your fiends' experience with x6 & 5800, similar S60v5 devices which are lower spec in cpu and ram to c6-01, c7 & n8. My fiend's n8 is an early model, running s^3 when purchased and he had no problem with XT on it at first afaik problems only started when he upgraded to anna. My 5800 runs XT beautifully with only 434Mhz clock speed ARM11 cpu & 128MB SDRAM, spec'ed well below n8 & c7 & c6-01. An easy anecdotal way to confirm a sw compatibility problem with anna/belle would be to have one of those 3 phone run XTwith the original S^3 to see if it's ok like it was with my friend's n8, and so rule out coincidence. However if it is a partial incompatibility problem, which i strongly suspect, it would involve someone going under the hood to mod xt and that's probably not gonna happen because it's just not worth the trouble with such old software. Your experience in getting it to run as you described sounds a whole lot better than that to me! Someone would have to be pretty bored to tinker with xt now.

    No it's not as you now know . Again don't worry, you'll get the hang of how things work around here. Those apps are both posted here in Noeman anyway: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] thanks to usitaly, (as it was in the other unmentionable forum) and [Only registered and activated users can see links. ] thanks to azrine. The other forum's *.sisx had a different file name and was thrashed there because it a trial version anyway, apparently(?). Maybe eukara with try them with his and report back, or anyone else prepared to try
