Add full-featured navigation to your GPS-enabled smartphone with Garmin Mobile XT. Just plug this data card into your compatible phone¹ (see specs tab) and start navigating. Garmin Mobile XT puts pre-loaded maps, spoken turn-by-turn directions, real-time services, and many more great features in the palm of your hand. With a price of just $99, you’ll have everything you need to navigate your day. And with no recurring subscription fees, you can make the most of your phone while you’re on the go.

    Notes:

    - This Garmin Mobile XT application is designed for use on Symbian smartphone devices running S60 (ie. Nokia E6x, Nokia N7x) 3rd Edition OS .
    - You must have a previous version of the XT software installed on your SD card to have all of the help files, voice files and basemap files. These are not included with this update.
    - During installation, you will be prompted to turn on your Garmin GPS. Please Note: You will not gain access to Garmin Online features and/or the navigation will be unavailable without connecting your Garmin GPS.
    - A minimum card size of 256 MB is recommended for Garmin Mobile XT software with maps.
    - Please save all appropriate data before beginning the update.

No offense, but the compilation date is the same as version 5.00.60 from Garmin.
And after extracting the file, only GMobileXT.exe is 1.15 bigger, all other files have the same filesize.
I think this version was never compiled by Garmin

    nothing new.
There is no new version of GarminXt .Garmin is no longer supporting symbian. Last Official version was 5.00.50. Taiwan team of Garmin subsidiary made an update for asian market known as v5.00.60. That's it. This "so called version" is "HOME MADE". This SIS file was modified by some hacker not by Garmin. Just look at the creation time. It seems familiar, isn't it? Garmin never made an "unsigned" version. I know everybody wish a new version, i wish too, but this isn't. Some enthusiasts reported that this "version" browse faster the map but still freezing

Yes, a fake, not even a clever one....Garmin never released an unsigned version. This without talking about sis content.

This will be a help! Well, speaking of the two versions, as far as I know the latest version released by Garmin on their website is GarminMobileXTforSymbianS603rdEdition_50050 and the other 50060 of it is not on the same site as the 6.0.10 and the means of two processed versions by someone. I have a Nokia 5230 (touch screen) and Nokia navigator 6110th. First I used Garmin MCSD card in nokia 6110, and then when I put it in 5230 I had a problem, touch screen is not working properly ie. some marks on the screen such as the back did not work and map on the screen was divided in half, a version of 50050 is correct the mistake as my mobile did not receive commands via touch screen, but I still had a problem with a map that was divided in half, 50060 version solved this problem, which means that this version of 50060 is great for touch sreen mobile because solving and sharing map in half and touch screen controls and work properly. I mean, although not the original software products is good, so now I wonder who is better 50060 or 6.0.10, and the difference in software products, because frankly I do not like light version? :-)

i wonder if it works with symbian anna

strangely when trying to install 50060 to a nokia 5800 it says it's incompatible and installation procedure is cancelled.. - is 5.00.60 an official version by garmin at all. There's no info about that on their site ??

    Small correction.
Version 50060 is from Garmin Taiwan. It's legit and the last official

Default Anyone got XP running on Anna or Belle?

Good question. I've heard it does work, but not smoothly like it does on s60 - s^3 platform. I'd also like to know if the "problems" with xt on anna/belle that i've heard anecdotally are true, eg locking up with 100% cpu use even though no other apps are running. I've got friends with N8s running anna but they won't let me near them to try out xt 'coz they believe the malicicious rumours that i sometimes break things . If any member has it running on anna or belle a sitrep would be most welcome please.

As to the first part of your other post #8, "strangely when trying to install 50060 to a nokia 5800 it says it's incompatible and installation procedure is cancelled" - during installation you will get an "not compatible message" but that's just Nanny-Nokia not wanting to get blamed if you mess something up installing a third party app. You should get the option to continue anyway, not just get bombed out. The 5.00.60 version that catymag has referred you to runs fine on my 5800 in spite of the message.
