    i'm a woman-
    It should be in your Garmin Mobile folder, but I didnt have too, if you format check it again
    every Garmin must have a basemap, that is a non detailed map from which you zoom in to see your detailed map

    2. Mobile PC no longer accepts gmapsupp2.img as 2nd supplemental map (only gmapprom.img and gmapsupp.img)
    3. Mobile PC is freezing when trying to zoom in-out and in some other functions when using any nautical maps, so they are unusable in this new version

    1. It does recognise if you don't mess with installation around! Works fine for me with v6.16.2 MapSource. If it doensn't work perform an uninstall, remove Garmin keys from registry and remove Garmin dir from your user dir from (Documents and Settings/%username%/Application Data) and perform then a clean install.
    2. MobilePC now accepts gmapprom1.img instead of gmapsup2.img (not gmapsupp2.img!). It is +1 and -1 so still same number of maps can be used. If needed I can provide a 3 bytes patch which will revert this change:
    00560EC8: 04 --> CC
    00560EC9: 17 --> 16
    00560ECC: E8 --> B0
    3. This I haven't tried, since MobilePC is not for Nautical maps. For that you have garmin HomePort: [Only registered and activated users can see links. ]

    This was a limitation in MobilePC 5.00.60, only 2 types of Garmin GPS could be used with that: 10x and 20x. This limitation was removed in the Special version, which you can find on piratebay.
    I just checked in 5.00.70 but it seems that Garmin has removed the limitation itself. However if you still can't use your 60CSx with that, I hope you can do hexedit because you have to modifiy 2 bytes:
    002E7222: 75 --> 90
    002E7223: 7C --> 90
    If you can't do hexedit let me know I'll post a special version again.

    Pardon me I had my doubts cause your avatar but nevertheless thank u once more!

    May i ask i add sveral maps in Garmin Pc folder but in browsing map it always displays the same one.
    In map sets i have 2 entries
    The second entry is the map i add (either autorout either bluechart either anavasis and so on)
    The first entry is always "worlide autoroute DEM basemap NR" .... i guess its the basemap file that i add.
    Why i cant view my other maps?
    In the GMPC folder there is the gmabmap.img file and the gmasuppp.img file.

    should i rename or add anything or change a setting ... ?
    thank you for your time afain.

    Hi,

    I have downloaded the unlocked City Navigator Europe NT 2011.10 maps and transferred them to the ProgramData\Garmin directory. Mobile PC 5.00.70 still does not recognise the maps. Have I copied the maps to the wrong place? I have also tried the MapSource program and attempted a transfer but Mobile PC is not recognised as a device. Can anybody "navigate" me to the right information?

    Thanks.

    look at the pic in my previous post n 52
    that is Mobile PC directory, the detailed map is the gmapprom.img-
    Mapsource will recognize MobilePC 5.00.70 when you'll have the gmapprom.img in program folder
