This is "Garmin Mobile PC" and not "Garmin for Windows Mobile", so it works only on PC with "normal" Windows

Default Garmin MobilePC 5.00.70 - Que.exe patch available for Thai menu?

Can anyone provide a Que.exe patched in Thai menu for GMPC 5.00.70? I have thai.ttf and thailand.gtt files in v5.00.60 installation which shall be re-usable for v5.00.70.

Alternatively who can advise how to patch the GMPC Que.exe for different language menus?

    Thanks a lot.

It is very simple to get translated voices, just use corresponding .VPM files from Mobile XT, but translating menus and messages is different story.
Garmin Mobile PC does not have translated menus in Que.exe, all menu and message translations are in .GTT files in \Text folder and could be edited with editor.
So, all languages that could be expressed with codepage ISO-8859-1 and does not require special characters or different fonts could be translated (just use translated .GTT file), but problem is for languages that needs different codepage, because this is only codepage that Mobile PC supports, and program is not using external fonts like Mobile XT (I think so).
I don't know if program could use external fonts from Mobile XT, but I think that it could not.
For now I don't know that anybody translated this program in any language.

If anybody have any experience with Mobile PC translations, please share it.

here is a russian pack for v 70g: que.exe (replace original) and russian.gtt (put to the ...\text\ folder). This "que" will also enable address search if maps are not in english, which originally doesn't work in this version, - i've checked it with maps in russian and greek, so it will presumably work with others.

List of improvements, fixes and corrections is pretty long, but in this new version are few new major bugs and problems (my own experience):

    1. MapSource no longer recognizes Mobile PC as output for transferring maps (you could use patched MapSource, output to any drive and then copy map)
    2. Mobile PC no longer accepts gmapsupp2.img as 2nd supplemental map (only gmapprom.img and gmapsupp.img)
    3. Mobile PC is freezing when trying to zoom in-out and in some other functions when using any nautical maps, so they are unusable in this new version

So if you have one of this problems (2. or 3.) use version 5.00.60 or wait for new release (which will probably not be soon), and there is no guarantee that this will be solved in new release.

Why do you need Unit ID?
