This topographic map was compiled to be fairly compatible with the Malfreemaps road maps. It is basically bigger and more cluttered than Antyong's initial topographic map.

    * Topographic lines below 100m are included
    * I think it is more detailed, although only marginally so
    * There are more tiles (this is because I can't get cgpsmapper to create .img files larger than 16Mb).

I guess it won't suit the typical road user - I've made it for people who just want all the detail possible and are not concerned with maps size and clutter.

    Coverage: Malaysia, Singapore and Brunei

    Contours: 10m 100m 500m

    Size: 216Mb

Hi. Pardon my question for I'm very new to this. Just bought my Garmin GPSMAP 62s recently and I will be heading down to Temburong, Burnei.
I need to get a topography map for my GPS to aid in my navigation. I wonder if this is the correct map I should be using?

Not sure if this information is needed but I will have a actual paper topographic map of the area with MGR. Will the MGR of this map be the same to the actual paper topographic map?

If my question is really dumb, please forgive me. Really new to this. HAHAHA~!

Any help provided will be greatly appreciated. =D

i Just add topo map into my Nuvi's,255W much better than 2465 in detailed and read ability, but Nuvi 2465 has built in compass,so for hiking or navigate in the jungle,i'm prefer for new unit with built in compass, this idea came when i'm in my 4X4 activities in the forest,no road has been recorded,so the topo map give a help to understand the surrounding area around me.
